“The property is very spacious and well maintained. We rented the main level, which has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was great. The kitchen is huge. The views from the deck are really nice too. For part of the stay we rented a small upstairs apartment for our friends. It was so nice. The owner is very pleasant too. Overall it was an excellent stay and we would definitely stay there again.”

“The property was off the beaten path tucked away on a beautiful lake. The property manager was on site and curtious. We felt like we had a private and secluded space to relax and bbq with friends. 10 out of 10 would stay again.”

“This place is so wonderful. It was clean, cozy and we were welcomed with a sweet customized note, nice touch. It was beautifully decorated and it really does have a zen vibe. They provided toletries, dishes, linens and even laundry supplies! We will definitely be booking this one the next time we travel to Birmingham. We absolutely recommend The Nest to anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway. We recommend Metro Diner and GianMarcos for food.”

“I'll begin with the positive - the interior of the property was clean except for carpet stains. The drain in the tub was nearly totally clogged - had to use a plunger each time a shower was taken. Also, we tried to start the washing machine and dishwasher as requested, but there was no soap for either. The garbage from previous tenants was left outside the entrance door. There were several bags which had been rilpped open and the garbage and trash were spread around the entrance - the smell...

“We had another perfect stay at the tiny homes at River’s Edge. The location is perfect and boat launch was easy with my 27’ tri-toon. The houses are immaculate and have everything you need. A few steps to the water and the some of the best meals on the lake at the Tiki Hut. The entire property is very well maintained. We will definitely be back.”
