“This was our 3rd stay at St John's Lodge and yet again it did not disappoint.
Great location, great room (which was upgraded when we arrived, a welcome surprise), great breakfast and amazing service from the Hosts Rich & Ada. Having free access to the Local health club and spa is another fantastic bonus, popping in after a hike to utilise the jacuzzi is great!
We couldn't ask for more from St John's Lodge, Rich and Ada are excellent hosts and couldn't do more for us. We hope to return again...

“Room had great views. Generally clean although the electric heater had accumulated lots of dust which was not good for me with dust allergies. Breakfast was good. ”

“Exceptional place to stay if visiting the Bowness area.
Absolutely spotless throughout. Fantastic room and tea,coffee making facilities in the beautiful ensuite rooms with a great big bay window and comfortable king size bed and delicious cooked breakfast. Hospitality is secind to none with lovely hosts.Will definitely return.”
