Escape from this hectic world in a family friendly waterfront home on beautiful Indian Rock Lake. Relax on the back patio with your morning coffee and soak up the lake or watch the sun set while swinging on the front porch. Enjoy fishing from the dock or sit around the fire pit roasting marshmallows. Have fun downstairs with the pool table, jukebox and TV with movie theater seating. Or use this home as a base to explore the beautiful Cumberland Plateau.
The space
While sitting on the large front porch, enjoy the sunset from the swing or sit back in the cedar Adirondack chairs. The house has a lot of space since the dining, kitchen and living room are all open. There are three different sitting areas in the living room. One centering around a 50" smart TV. Another in front of large windows overlooking the lake and a quiet reading nook to relax alone.

This house can truly accommodate 8 guests with 2 king beds, 1 queen and twin bunk beds downstairs. There are extra blankets and pillows in each closet for your comfort. (A port-a-crib and booster seat are located in the master closet.)

An incredible game room with a pool table, jukebox , 50" TV with 4 movie theater recliners and the bunk beds are located in the lower level. There is NO bathroom downstairs where the bunk beds are located. The spiral staircase that leads to the lower level may be difficult for some people to navigate. Access to this level is also available through the garage. Everything you need for a relaxing stay is found on the main level.

There is Wi-Fi for the smart TV's located upstairs and down. You can use your favorite app such as Netflix or Hulu for streaming movies and shows. There are tons of movies on DVD's to watch in cabinet downstairs. There are also plenty of family board games. Cell service is spotty, so it may be a good idea to have an app that will connect your cell phone to the Wi-Fi for phone calls. We do not have DirecTV or regular TV stations.

The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge, microwave, 5 burner gas range/oven, dishwasher, waffle irons, Keurig, a large coffee maker, and many other amenities. All the flatware, glasses and dishes you will need along with pots and pans are at your fingertips for large family meals.

If you love the outdoors, you are at the right place. You can go fishing, swimming, sit on the patio or by the campfire. The dock is extended by a pontoon boat that is attached to the side. You are welcome to fish or swim in this area or go to the public swimming area just around the lake, within walking distance. The lake is non-motorized. We have a canoe, 2 person kayak and a paddle board for guests to use. All swimmers are required to have flotation devices. The lake has a silty bottom and the water is kind of murky, so we like to be on floats instead of walking in the water.

We are dog friendly! They will love going out the doggie doors to play in the fenced back yard. The fence goes into the lake at each end so the backyard is open to the lake. They are welcome to swim in the lake and have their own towels to dry off. There is a non-refundable $100 pet fee - 3 dog max.

There is plenty of parking and a detached single carport.
