“L'hotel è antico, in posizione stupenda direttamente sulla baia. Alto livello per ristorante e colazione, all'altezza delle 4 stelle. Meno per il comfort generale. Ci si muove in corridoi bui, stretti e un po' sporchi, con frequenti gradini per superare i diversi dislivelli. Ci sono 2 ascensori non proprio moderni, che comunque non consentono di sueprare tutti i dislivelli presenti; scomodo con bagali pesanti. Possibilità di parcheggio riservato molto comodo. Personale gentile ed efficiente.”

“We loved the atmosphere of the Alverton and its grounds. There was plenty of space for parking and the reception was only a short walk. The rooms we had were very well presented and very clean. I have marked down on the eco credentials as all the lights and television were on when we arrived which wasn't necessary. The terrace was a great place to sit in the late afternoon for a pre-dinner drink. At times the bar staff were talking to each other rather than looking after customers needs but...
