The Lodge was the perfect place for our family weekend. Very spacious, comfortable and clean! The view was wonderful even with the lake being so low due to the drought. We are planning a return trip next year!

The house was beautiful and spacious. Very clean, comfortable and outfitted with everything we needed. The kitchen had everything you could need. The outside grill and the stove/oven in the kitchen did not work well so meals cooked at the house took quite a bit longer than expected. There is a nice toaster oven/ air fryer which is probably better than either of those. Overall, it was a smooth visit and we were very happy with the house!

This is a beautiful property! It is very well kept and we had a lovely time. It is pet friendly to boot so our dog could join us! The access to the lake for boating is great. The proximity to the Lake Champlain Bridge means being able to do activities in both VT and NY. We look forward to another future trip!

Beautiful location on Lake Champlain and the house is large and lovely with a great yard, a terrific deck on the lake side and a game room that is for all intents and purposes a screened-in 2nd floor porch. Beds are comfortable. Firepit is great. The whole family really enjoyed our time.There are two things that may be helpful to understand (but not dealkillers at all).First is that the lake accees was challenging. The water level was several feet below where it was when the dock was installed. So the dock is not usable. You have to pull the boats a decent amount to get them to the water. So lake access wasn't quite what I thought it was but we have no regrets at all.Second is that the playground pictured in the photos is next door but it's a large state park and not easily walkable. it's conceiveable to walk but not very practical because it requires walking back out the driveway to the road just a little bit and then into the park. Not knowing where it was in the park we ended up driving. When we found it, we realize the distance was snt so vad but you had to walk along the side of the road for a minute. Regardless, we still highly recommend the house and owner.

Couldn’t have been any better. I was so looking forward to this vacation with my family and it didn’t disappoint. The home is beautiful with everything we needed. The host was lovely and the location was central to many activities. We hiked, we swam at nearby beaches and enjoyed our evenings watching the moon rise. Viewed some spectacular sunrises as well. Just loved it.

Had a great stay here. It was large space that fit our group very well. The kayaks and canoe were great to have by the water. They also provided yard games and had a great outdoor space along with the beautiful decks.

Tranquil or Energizing? You get to decide!

We opted for tranquil but you can easily make it an energizing stay. The Lodge is large, spacious, and perfect for families and/or friends looking to make lasting memories. We loved it!

Great House With Beautiful Views!

My family loved our trip to The Lodge. The location was very quiet and secluded, and the house was incredibly comfortable. All of the labeling of switches throughout the house was a nice touch that made settling in very easy. The game room and the porch were highlights of the home for all of us!

Beautiful lakefront haven

We loved our visit at The Lodge on Lake Champlain! The photos on this listing are great, but the views in-person are absolutely stunning! The property is well kept, sparklingly clean and designed with guest comfort in mind. Everything was clearly labeled which added to the sense of ease and the feeling of "home away from home."The space is beautiful, cozy and welcoming. The only thing that was less than perfect during our stay was the condition of the kayaks. They were on the ground and it looked like we were the first to use them for the season. My cousin and I cleaned a couple of them up for use. We would love to return to The Lodge again in the future!

Great Graduation Weekend

Our family had a wonderful stay.The lodge is spotless, user friendly, very thoughtfully provisioned with linens, kitchen goods, grooming products, and all manner of means for entertainment.We couldn’t possibly avail ourselves of all the options:Ping pong, billiards, darts, games, kayaks/canoes, pickleball court in driveway.Gorgeous views, privacy, bird and critter watching with provided binoculars were some of our favorite features.Coffee makers upstairs and down ( Keurig)Comortable beds and bedding.!Only 20 min. Drive from Middlebury and even closer to Vergennes/ferrisburg where tge better restaurants are, anyway!!Michelle was friendly/responsive and a delight to work withThank you so much for the perfect stay!!

Better than excpected

House is beautiful. The area is spectacular. Stars were vibrant. The Bridge resturant is a great place for breakfast. War Cannon Spirits was amazing the way they revised the resturant is well worth the visit.

Wonderful property!

We visited the property over a long weekend with a group of friends and our dog. The listing is accurate, the house is lovely, and the lake view is stunning at sunrise. The host communicated well and check in was smooth. My dog is now upset that we don’t live at the lake house full time.

Beautiful location, wonderful big house, great choice

We would recommend without hesitation! Lots of room, including a fun game porch with ping pong and pool table, just steps from the shore of Lake Champlain. We saw a bald eagle, a beaver, a fox, and more. 5 stars!!!
