Family Friendly Scalloping Dream with 30ft of Dockage!

Located on the access point of Halls and Homosassa River(s) is your home away from home. Offering open water views, 30ft of dockage, +20ft of additional dockage, floating dock, on site ice machine, and a double lot providing ample parking for both cars and boat trailer. “The River House” is a prime location for single and multi family vacationers, with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Enjoy additional recreational and entertainment entities; paddle boards, kayaks, 4 burner Weber Grill, two River front fire pits, and multiple fillet tables and sinks for fish cleaning and scallop shucking.

Amazing Property

This was next level hosting. The owners are truly pros and the home was so nice we thought it has to be their primary residence. Immaculate! Wish we were staying longer, but definitely next time.

Amazing Home

Chris made us feel welcome from the start, sent us all check in information and gave us the rundown on the gate. Told us if we needed anything he was just a phone call or text away. Home is well stocked with dishes/cutlery/seasonings/toiletries and condiments. Sitting on the back patio was one of our favorites even saw the manatee swimming next to the dock. Even though our weather wasn’t great, we made the best of a weekend away. Teens loved the ping pong table. Ice Maker to fill the cooler for our beach day was pretty nice too! Plenty of beds! Everyone slept great!

Perfect Location

Location was perfect for scalloping…close to everything. The home was extremely clean and well maintained. We felt welcomed and pampered by all the well stocked supplies and all the amenities. We’ll definitely be back!

Awesome Family weekend!

Fantastic home for a family getaway. Wonderful river location for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and other water activities. Our family enjoyed gathering around the fire pit at night and spending good old fashion time together. Plenty of beds and a really nice kitchen. We highly recommend this home to everyone.

Scallopiing weekend

This was a great property with plenty of room and amenities! We loved the fire pit for smores....when the rain shower cooled things off it worked out perfect. What a surprise to find the more stainless steel sticks! The paddle boards were awesome. Our girls had a chance to use them and gave them 2 thumbs up! Only wish we had 1 more day to really enjoy the paddle boards, Kayaks and springs. We easily docked our pontoon boat at the floating dock for 2 days of scalloping. The 1st day was slim pickings but with some local advise we had a pretty good 2nd day! The boys enjoyed fishing outback and the dock lights were super cool! Chris was great to call me back immediately when I had a few questions about the property. We highly recommend this property and would love to return!

Great Getaway

We traveled for a golf getaway with 8 adults. The house was perfect for our needs, comfortable and clean. A great central hangout between the kitchen, dining and TV room. We used the firepit and BBQ, but did not take advantage of the kayaks. (Too much wind that weekend!) The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the bathrooms had plenty of clean towels etc. If World Woods Golf Course refurbishing project is complete in 2 years, we hope to return!

Family Vacation

Our family meets once a year and this was the perfect house and location. It accommodated 14 of us. Being on the water, the kids had access to kayaking, fishing, and paddle boarding. Usually the kids are griping they are board but this time, no one did. I would recommend this property to any family.

New Adventures Every Day

We just finished an eight week winter stay and each day brought new adventures on the river. Absolutely beautiful views of the rising sun on the river, gorgeous sunset reflections, amazing wildlife including many shore birds, manatees, river otters, jumping fish and the occasional dolphin. Kayaking on the river with the manatees was a real treat as well as several visits to the Homosassa Springs Park. We do not own a boat but did rent Pontoons a few times from McRae’s - fun to travel the river out to the gulf. The house is perfectly located on the river and is very comfortable with lots of space. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable,, lots of towels , use of kayaks and SUP boards and many supplies that would not typically come with a rental. Chris is was very attentive and we lacked for nothing. He was quick to respond to all requests and even made a point of checking in with us after a big storm just to make sure everything was okay. Chris is an amazing host and we thank him for the wonderful memories!

Great location, great kitchen

We had a wonderful stay in Homosassa! The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and more. I was very impressed with the knives which were very sharp and a complete set, not what you usually get in most rentals. The house is laid out in a manner that is different from most houses, but it is easy to make it work and it is solid so you don't hear every little thing when someone is moving around. Always a plus when traveling with children or people who have different schedules. Parking was easy for both cars and boats. We easily put 3 boats at the dock and 5 cars in the driveway. Staying on the water with a dock is a must-have for this water-oriented area so this house checked all the boxes for us. Looking forward to coming back next year for scalloping again!

Relax, Relax and Relax

Amenities were top notch in this property, hosts were great and well prepared for everything you need , respond quick too. we had so much fun with the kayak and paddle broad and we caught few fish just by the dock. only thing that we wish is it has another bathroom at the lower level.

Nice place to stay

We had an great vacation staying at this property. The property was clean with all amenities and well located. They also had canoe for kayaking. If you are not interested in kayaking it is advisable to rent a private boat beforehand. The property agent was very cooperative & spontaneous in her response. Altogether it was a wonderful experience staying at this place.

Awesome Rental house

We extremely enjoyed our stay at this house , from the location, amenities, to views this was the most awesome place to stay. The hosts were great to work with and very accommodating. We loved the sound system in the house and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook! The location couldn't be much better, close to springs and restaurants! The fire pits were nice on the cooler nights too! I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back again!
