“In a great location, this simple hotel gives good honest service and accommodation, it overlooks the beach and the train station, from which you can travel back in time on a steam train. The town is just down the road and for bigger shops, there are 3 supermarkets 10 minutes walk away. You can walk along the promenade in either direction, and a visit to the harbour is well worth the walk. “Really enjoyed our stay in the Rock House. Checked in at the sister hotel The Rising Sun just over the bridge. Perfect location wise to explore Lynemouth, lovely sea view, bar with beer garden, clean room and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend”

Bed was slightly uncomfortable as sloping a bit one way and a pillow menu would be good as I prefer really soft down ones. Good hot showers and loved the windows opening wide as sleep with fresh air even in winter so suited us well.
Loved the lounge to sit in quietly as well on a drizzly day. 10/10”
