  • La nostra classica casetta sulla spiaggia e la suite padronale è una proprietà memorabile che offre un'atmosfera rustica, tranquilla, privata, romantica e veramente fuori dalla griglia. Su 5 acri lussureggianti che termina sulla cima della nostra montagna, il suo fascino è semplice e senza pretese. Ci auguriamo che la pace e la tranquillità, così come perfetti giorni di mare in ogni momento della vostra visita. Strada privata senza uscita, ingresso recintato, ponte di due dimensioni, casa con 2 camere da letto con alcova e suite padronale per dormire fino a 8 persone comodamente. Acqua senza fine e viste dell'isola. Unico. Rilassati e ricaricati in paradiso.

Great base for visiting Culebra

Lovely house. It was great to stay in the smaller house while our teens stayed in the bigger house. Easy to get to the assorted beaches and town. I hope we can stay here the next stay in Culebra

Christmas Family Trip

Terrific place for our family to spend a week in Culebra. Property was comfortable and secluded, very private. Located on top of a hill where we could enjoy views of trees and the water in the distance. Relatively close to town and the surrounding beaches.

Cozy beach retreat

The house felt just like our home in Vermont, tucked away up in the hills with total privacy. It’s definitely a family dwelling, and the back porch is legendary. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful location

Great VRBO experience, perfect location but you definitely need a jeep to get up the hill. The view is amazing and the space is very nice. The guest space is also very nice and gave us lots of room to spread out.

Total relaxation

The house and casita were a perfect housing situation for our family of 6. The kids stayed in the house, and the parents had peace and quiet in the casita. We would 100% stay here again! The breeze at night was amazing. We were very comfortable here

Lovely, Peaceful, Unique

This house and property were the perfect getaway for my family. It is well-appointed, spacious and quiet - remote enough to have your privacy, but a short drive to restaurants and shops. Beautiful sunrise views from the deck, large living areas, comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen. And your host provides you with an excellent amount of information to help you make the most of this beautiful little gem of an island.

Secluded Culebra Get-a-way

Wonderful stay on Culebra in a secluded, quiet location. Beautiful sunrises over Ensenada Honda and star-filled nights from the deck. Loved the outdoor shower. Easy to get to all the island destinations, but one does need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get up the 15% grade, dirt driveway/road. Responsive hosts and comfortable accommodations.

Amazing Stay

The property is very private, clean and comfortable! The evening breeze in the main house and casita make for a restful and peaceful nights sleep. Perfect stay in Culebra

Beautiful home. Beautiful view. It’s close enough to town/restaurants/beaches but off the beaten path enough to get away from people. It has most everything you need. Kitchen is well stocked. The snorkel stuff was awesome. You definitely need a Jeep. Bring hand and body soap. We would stay there again!

Great Vacation

Perfect group trip to Culebra! The house was everything we were expecting. The one drawback was that one of the bedrooms does not have a door and is open to the rest of the house. However, it didn’t take away from our great vacation and stay!

Absolutely wonderful getaway!

What we were looking for with this trip was to get away from all of the stresses of every day life and to mainly just go relax for a while. This property proved to be exactly what we were looking for. It had ample space for all 6 of us, a wonderful view that included several rainbows, a huge supply of books for us to peruse, and a short commute to town (~5 mins) and several beaches (~15 mins). We will definitely be back.

Spring break in paradise!

Beautiful property away from any of the busy areas of Culebra-which isn’t much to begin with. Great snorkeling at Punto Salato within minutes and all the other beaches are easy commutes. Flamenco is truly beautiful and found turtles at Tamarinda every time. Owners were very helpful and responsive. Jesse met us at the airport to show us to the property and was a lifesaver when we had some issues with the rental car office. Main house was a bit bigger than we expected and our 14 yet old loved the privacy of his own casita! Highly recommended slice of paradis!

Wonderful spot on a wonderful island!

We had such a fantastic four days in Culebra and only wish we had stayed longer. We felt this house was perfectly situated - very quiet and breezy, especially out on the deck. We were worried about the driveway after reading the description but it was fine, and pretty exciting, particularly the first time! We were very grateful the caretaker Jessie helped us secure a jeep rental before we arrived and was available to help with a water issue that occurred while we stayed and was resolved that same day. Also appreciated all the tips on where to go and what to do while on Culebra. We would love to return!

Isolated with great views

The house and casita provided an excellent private home base for our vacation in Culebra. The beaches and town are easily within a short drive. The secluded hillside location is quiet and picturesque. An improvement would be a clothesline, especially since each person is allotted only two towels for the week and beach excursions are a major activity on Culebra and Culebrita. We had 6 adults and one child. It felt spacious and well supplied for preparing meals and leisure entertainment. This is a great vacation house.

The good and the bad

We had a great time in Culebra and will be back. But we won't stay at this house again. The house has so much potential, but we had 2 main issues. 1) We had messaged the property owner prior to booking because we have had some back luck with places being clean in the past. She said that she was a "neat freak" and that we would be happy. Not so. The bedsheets were clean, but the house really wasn't. There was hair in shower drain (not much hot water, 7 min max). The floors had sticky stuff throughout the whole house, and they needed swept. There was a layer of grime on most surfaces. Anything that fingers can touch was dirty. This house was in desperate need of a deep clean. The shower was very dirty. I understand that it is an island, but there was lots of what I think was gecko/lizard poop all over the floors. It swept up easily, but it was a lot. My wife and I found the broom and mop and cleaned the house ourselves. Despite the charged "cleaning" fee. 2) We think this house needs AC. It was nice being on the top of the hill, and about 30% of the time AC wasn't needed. But there were nights we were lying in bed when the breeze wasn't coming and we were sweating and miserable. It was 76 degrees with 80% humidity and no air flow. Just because the house doesn't need AC sometimes, doesn't mean it doesn't NEED it sometimes. We ended up fighting over who got to sleep in the corner single bed by the front windows. It was the only place that got enough air to get a good nights sleep. Maybe other times of the year this isn't an issue, but it was February, and we were not comfortable. And during the day it was far too hot in the house to stay around. At least provide more fans, like large industrial fans that could move some serious air. The fans there did not do much. Jamie helped us a lot in our check in and our check out. She was very nice and responsive. She made a great recommendation for a driver to help us from the port and helped with our Jeep rental. Thank you The house is decorated nice and the beds were comfortable. They have a great selection of board games and our family played them every night. They also have a great selection of books. The potential of this house is huge. If it got a deep clean and some AC, it would be amazing. Finally, the communication was great prior to us arriving. But as soon as we got there and told her about how dirty the house was, it was crickets.

Paradise!

We had the most perfect week in Culebra, from start to finish the whole trip exceeded our expectations. Hilary was a very communicative host, we knew exactly what to expect, her caretaker Jessie met us at the airport to show us the property. The house is conveniently located to everything but sits high up giving you total privacy and amazing breezes through the house. The house had everything we needed, we especially loved the outdoor shower. Our party included two vegans and we were able to find great grocery options for them at the regular grocery store and D's Produce (a must visit). Visit Flamenco beach while you are there just to say you've been to one of the top 10 beaches in the world but the real gems are Playa Brava and Playa Zoni. Both are gorgeous, white sand beaches and we were the ONLY people on Brava. The snorkeling at Playa Melones was exceptional. Playa Tamarindo has resident sea turtles. The whole island is easy to get around and the people are very friendly. We spent our last day on Culebrita Island, a 20 minute boat ride from Culebra, we highly recommend it for a day trip. We had such an amazing time at Casa Estrella and will absolutely be back.

Beautiful, secluded beach house

Secluded beach house set high up on a hill overlooking a bay in Culebra - the property was really relaxing, with a beautiful great room to lounge and play games in, very functional and easy to use kitchen and a great deck to have meals out on at all times of the day. Ceiling fans throughout the house kept the temperature very cool and comfortable at night. The casita was perfect as additional space and very comfortable to stay in. It was a pleasure renting from Hilary and having Jessie and Bill right on the island if any issues arose. Definitely look forward to returning!

I loved staying at this hidden gem. It was a wonderful experience for myself and my son Malachi. He enjoyed seeing all of the wild animals everyday and the quietness of the space allowed for us to really let of hair down and unwind. The house was exactly what I was looking for. I had a few issues renting a vehicle from Carlos Jeep rental but overall I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you again!

Birthday getaway

So glad we listened to Hillary and rented a Jeep no way could we have got up there in a UTV especially that last section of the driveway :-) Nice away from it all place, I love d the ambience furnishings etc felt very at home. Just to warn future travelers in Culebra right now most restaurants are closed and if you land on a Sunday you better rush to the supermarket before 1:00 p.m., difficult finding food! Great views and breezes, great family space but if couples then not much privacy, we utilized the little casita as there were two couples and that worked out great
