“We had a great stay, the accommodation was comfortable and clean, the hot tub was a great feature and so relaxing.
the grounds are quiet and we were visited by some chickens too!
Perfectly located for a break from every day life, just 5 minute drive to the town and half an hour to the beach.
Would love to come back

“This was my second stay here whilst visiting my son at Exeter University. Moto Velo is <20 mins from the Uni Campus, This place caught my eye as it allows dogs to stay at a reasonable price, much better than the ridiculous amount some of the hotels in Exeter were charging. Plus it comes with free convenient parking. Check-in is faceless with easy to follow instructions. “A conduzione familiare,il posto é meraviglioso,curato nei minimi particolari.Siamo stati accolti dalla proprietaria calorosamente.Ci ha fatto scegliere la camera che preferivamo e ci ha offerto un caffè con due cup cake nella sala relax.Ci ha dato anche indicazioni su dove cenare e su come muoverci.La camera é piccola ma funzionale,con set per la preparazione di the o caffè con biscotti e caramelle.La colazione é varia ed abbondante.Se dovessimo capitare in zona ci torneremo di sicuro.”

“We stayed in a ground floor twin room at the Cromwell Arms during the heatwave of July 2026.
The room was pleasant, the beds comfortable. Whilst there was an additional heater in the wardrobe, a fan would have been gratefully received.
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All the staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant.
Overall a good place to stay.”

“The room was very clean and well furnished, rather warm but without air conditioning it would be in this unprecedented heat. Needed more room in bathroom to put out toiletries . The hotel staff were both helpful, friendly and professional. The Jubilee room was a great setting for breakfast , due to timescales ie booking in and out we were unable to use amenities and 1 nights stay is just not long enough. We will be booking longer next time. Pure Luxury and well worth the money.”
