“The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. “The rooms and common areas are opulent and luxurious. The grounds are wonderfully manicured with exceptional views out to the sea. There is even a haunted castle ruin on site! All the staff are wonderful and friendly, especially Andrea who looked after my family and I on our short stay. Without a doubt, one of the prettiest hotels in Scotland! ”

“The staff were exceptional and made us all feel very welcome. The breakfasts and meal we enjoyed in the restaurant were first class. The bar was a lovely place to spend time and the whiskey knowledge was incredible. The room was very comfortable great water pressure and super comfy bed. Would return in a heartbeat.”

“Lovely stay, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable & very clean. Lovely welcome pack. Beds were really warm & comfy. The balcony was wonderful, watched the sunrise & the surfers every morning with a cup of tea. Didn’t want to leave had such a peaceful time. Look forward to going back. ”

“We reserved a room for three adults. Actually we discover that there were two rooms sharing a bathroom. So plenty of space. Really quiet. Nice breakfast and good restaurant / pub to have dinner. I would recommend to my best friend.”
