The sunny and open interior is perfect for a family vacation or a romantic get away! Comfortable and updated living area with a fully equipped kitchen that has all the necessities.
The main suite sits in one end of the home for added privacy and features a private bathroom. The other bedrooms share a shower/tub combination.
Added perks for the family friendly get away include a flat screen TV with cable WiFi, board games, a gas grill and large yard to enjoy!
This home is perfect for those who want to be on the coast but no to far away from what midcoast Maine has to offer.
The shared dock comes in handy if you would like to bring your boat or kayak to be on the water or just want to go for a swim. Total access to Muscongus Bay or spend the day in near by Rockland, Port Clyde or Thomaston.

This was Perfect….Absolutely enjoyable and peaceful. Accommodations were very clean and organized. Host was readily available and checked in to make sure everything was meeting expectations. Looking forward to a repeat vacation at this location. ….

This property was amazing! Beautiful view, well stocked house, lovely deck and dock. Michelle was very responsive and check in was easy! We will absolutely be back again! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Our stay in this cabin was one of the best experiences I have had in a short-term rental. The lovely cabin is spacious and easy to feel at home in. We were especially impressed by the kitchen, which we put to good use, preparing a few dishes for my son's wedding (the purpose for our visit to Maine.) Every time I needed a kitchen utensil, tool, item, etc. it was there, organized, and in great condition. The rooms are very comfortable, well-equipped with linens, etc., and welcoming. And the view? Can't be beat! I would love to return to stay again, and I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone wanting feel at home in Cushing.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. Super safe and quiet community and easy to jump off and explore. We were disappointed that there was no hot tub as advertised.

A comfortable house sitting on a waterfront lot with a great water view of fishing boats. The neighborhood is well off the main road and is very quiet. There are very few amenities nearby; they are 20 minutes plus away. The house is well stocked with necessary equipment and kitchen essentials. Comfortable beds and sitting areas. The front deck, with table and chairs, is lovely on a sunny day. The owners were very responsive to questions. We hope to return.

On the water, near more family, perfect weather
An attractive, clean, well-appointed home.Lovely weather, and peace and quiet. In the photo the house appears smaller than it actually s. The house is laid out well so every inch is used. No long hallways for example. Also the dock is right there, and friends and children rowed or motored right up to say hello. Lovely view - from the living room picture window or the deck - of the quite water of the Pleasant Point Gut, with lobster boats and pleasure boats. Also more than enough of everything, including sheets and towels, a collection of books, serving pieces, lots of storage, and an antique desk to admire. Nice to have coffee on the porch watching the sun come up. There are also places not too far away to visit. I think you need a reservation early to go to Vinalhaven island. A famous local author, Elizabeth Ogilvie, who wrote stories set in island of Maine, once lived in this house..... Altogether a real Maine environment. Thank you, Michelle.
