“It was a cabin that sleeps 6 but only had a few spoons and forks in the kitchen. The pots and pans were warped beyond use and the pillows were fairly worn out and completely flat. It seems a few cheap updates would greatly improve this property.”

“This property would be great for someone visiting the area. It is centrally located, and has a pretty functional kitchenette. The bed was very comfortable with good pillows. Unfortunately, we were just passing through as part of a very long trip that included arriving late and leaving early. They're not really set up for that with the office closed 7pm to 7am. The cabin worked well for us and our 2 dogs, but the fee was a bit high.”

“The cabin was the perfect cozy place to come home to after braving the crazy prairie winds and SD cold! It was clean, very well maintained, and nicely arranged to support a family stay. We watched deer and other wildlife in the campground in the mornings, and it was just a short walk to the playground and Canyon Lake. Highly recommend!”

“This cabin was tucked away in the mountains. We loved the peace the nature and woods brought us. The cabin was very clean & the house supplies were good quality. The owners did not skip out on anything. They even provided fresh food supplies for us! They provided maps/brochures for all the adventures that surrounded us! Check in and check out process was easy! I’d HIGHLY recommend and love to go back! ”

“The teeny home was a great home away from home ! The deck was perfect to watch the sunrise. There was ample wood for a bonfire and our black lab Jackson loved all the open and for the most part fenced in land. The Murphy bed was easy to set up as well as being comfortable. The location was very convenient with the sites that we wanted to see. Host was very timely with communication. Would definitely recommend ! 10/10”

“What and amazing get-away cabin! It is several miles off the main road, quiet location on a hill, with such a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The host was amazing! She was quick to answer questions and make sure we had everything we needed. It was everything we were hoping for! If you are looking for a place that is centrally located, right outside of Hill City, where you can enjoy the area but still enjoy the quiet of the mountain... THIS is your place! It is worth every penny!”

“This stay was by far my favorite place. It had all the amenities you could think of. The host was very nice and accommodating. I would 100 % stay there again and my family agrees. My only bad comment was that i couldnt have my senior small, non shedding dog with me. I'm guessing its because of the hosts dog on the property...which i do understand. It was just a bummer i couldnt have my sweet girl with me. ”

“The cabin was absolutely perfect! The pictures really don’t do it justice. It’s remote, but still 15-30 minutes from everything we wanted to see and do. The whole house is super well equipped with any and everything we needed. Natalie was a breeze to work with, and her parents, who live on the other end of their 40 acres, were so sweet to meet. We absolutely recommend this place! We have rented VRBO properties across the country and this one is a top 5 without question!!”

"Purtroppo il mio soggiorno non era degli migliori. Ho dovuto cambiare stanza dopo la prima notte (mancava la tenda oscurante, una lampada del comodino non funzionava e polvere sulla testiera del letto) e anche la seconda non era tranquilla (le reti scricchiolavano con ogni movimento). Non forse per il personale della reception avrei dato una stella."
