“The bathroom was missing a shelf/holder in the shower. I had placed the shampoo on the ground and held the soap while taking a shower and the doors didn't completely shut causing water to get all over the floor. I was on floor 2 and there were people above my room stomping during the night waking me up. It happened three times. When I checked out I told the desk clerk about the issues and she just shrugged. Didn't even say, "sorry".”

“We were kind of put off by the morning staff person. We came in for breakfast, and the person didn't acknowledge us at all. We waited by the entryway, and heard her acknowledge those that came in right behind us. Very disappointing. Kitchen staff on both days was extremely awesome. He acknowledged us, came and cleaned the table as we set. He made our experience 100 percent better. Awesome gentleman.”

“The room was clean but did not include hair dryer but does have individual body wash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. Room has a fridge, microwave, Keurig and small sink to wash dishes but no bowls or utensils provided. Staff were friendly at check in and checkout. Loved the ocean view room and nice beach access.”

“Arrived at 4:30 and was told the room was not ready. Offered another "just the same" room. I agreed. It was not the same. Booked a single BR with a king bed and fireplace. What I got was a single BR with 2 queen beds and no fireplace. After a four hour drive and hauling our suitcases and bags to the room, (we are in our 70's) we decided to stay. After check in I found hole in the bathroom door, a half done ceiling patch and picture windows you could barely see through due to paint over spray on...

The walk to the beach was doable, but we enjoyed sitting up near the building in the sun watching people walking on the beach as the sun and gentle breeze refreshened us! “Our room was upgraded from a studio to a 1 bedroom. Gave us a much better view of the ocean. Was a little further walk from the parking lot, but they were happy to provide assistance with what we brought since even walking a little further and up about 6 steps is s little challenging. The space was very nice and clean. Would've been great for a stay longer than 2 nights because of full kitchen. We probably would've used it more than we did. The biggest downside was that it had a tub/shower...

“Walked across to the shops for the best coffee and good pastries. The little market in the lodge had a good burger and lighter options too. I got a great chai there every day. The room was perfect for us, with a nice balcony I used for some sketching and reading, a gas fireplace for cool evenings, and comfy beds I didn’t want to leave. ”
