“The main part of the hotel was stunning. The room I was in & the grounds needs a little TLC and. But overall comfortable night. The lates and resivour was lovely to walk around and spot local wildlife etc. ”

We got into the room and the TV wasn’t working properly, staff did come to try fix it then the maintenance man. He couldn’t fix it so said he would speak to reception and ask for us to be moved, we waited an hour then went to reception the message had not been passed on. Non c'era nessun hotel georgian house, perchè in realta è in manchester blackrod, circa 10 km fuori bolton. Comunque molto prima della mezzanotte, quindi largamente in tempo per fare il check in. secondo quando comunicato alla prenotazione. Non c'è posto! Increduli insistiamo, ma non c'è nulla da fare....

“We stayed at the Red Lion for a few days as we were meeting family. The accommodation is situated at the back of the pub and is bright and clean. You can access it by walking through the pub or walking round the back. There is plenty of parking but it can get busy when the pub is open! It’s situation means you have easy access to get to many places by road very quickly. The staff who work there are fantastic and very helpful. “the staff was very kind and available to answer to all of our questions. the location is far from the city, but it’s not impossible to reach it if you’re down to get a few transports. I cannot complain. it was still extremely cheap even if manchester was full of tourists for the oasis concerts! it was a nice short stay for us ”
