If you want to stay away from the beach, this area can be a good choice. The Han Market is close by, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafés, just like in the beach area. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful.
However, I couldn’t ignore the strong perfume scent in the hallway at times and at the front reception area. It wasn’t pleasant for me, as I’m not fond of perfumes. Then again, when the perfume isn't presented, there's strong carpet ordor in the hallway. I guess it makes sense until there's another solution.
There was also a noticeable smell of pollution in the room. I’m not sure if it came from an uncleaned A/C filter or from somewhere else that was open—I couldn’t identify the source.
The room was also quite noisy—the windows seem thin, and you can hear outside activities very loudly. Earplugs were provided for guests, which helped a bit. That said, it got better late at night and didn’t bother me as much.
I don't know if I can recommend their spa service. The first time, I almost felt anxious during the session. The therapist seemed to be just going through the motions—rushing and quite rough. Throughout the entire treatment, there was a loud, broken fan noise mixed with airplane sounds, along with the spa music. It was an odd and unpleasant combination, and I couldn’t relax at all. I just wanted it to end as soon as possible.
