I really wanted to rate this resort higher, but there were several frustrating issues.
Pool area: The biggest disappointment was the pool. There weren’t enough lounge chairs for the number of guests, so people had to wake up at the crack of dawn just to secure a spot. This is especially frustrating because the resort is about a 12-minute drive from Hoi An with nothing else nearby - booking a resort usually means you want to relax by the pool, and many guests weren’t able to do that.
Food and drinks: The prices were quite high, and they even charge extra for water. For example, a coconut water costs around $10 AUD. Outside food isn’t allowed, which is understandable if the resort’s food was reasonably priced, but it feels difficult for families to manage these costs.
Positives: On the bright side, the resort has a fantastic setup for kids, which is not common in many resorts. The breakfast buffet was decent, and I enjoyed my room.
Overall: While the kids’ facilities and room were good, the pool situation really detracted from the experience. I probably wouldn’t recommend staying here again mainly because of this issue.
