Benvenuti nella nostra storica baita sul fiume! Immersa in mezzo al bosco sul fiume Chestatee, questa cabina è un posto meraviglioso per creare ricordi che dureranno una vita. Sia che tu preferisca coccolarti vicino al fuoco, sguazzare nel fiume, rilassarti sulla veranda, esplorare la regione vinicola della Georgia, o fare shopping e cenare a Dahlonega, speriamo davvero che ti goda il tuo soggiorno!

Questa è una baita storica che fonde comfort moderni con autentico fascino rustico. La cabina si trova su una sezione impetuosa del fiume Chestatee nel cuore della Georgia Mountain Wine Country. La storica piazza Dahlonega è a soli 20 minuti di auto.

La cabina ha un totale di 9 posti letto. Il piano superiore è composto da un soppalco principale con letto matrimoniale e una camera da letto separata che ha un re, 3 gemelli e 2 letti a castello. C'è un letto aggiuntivo giù per le scale con un rotelle. La cabina può ospitare comodamente 8 persone, ma può ospitare fino a 11 persone. È il luogo ideale per vacanze in famiglia, alloggi per matrimoni, gite nelle numerose cantine locali o un rifugio tranquillo.

Siamo situati direttamente su una sezione impetuosa del fiume Chestatee perfetta per la pesca a mosca o il tubo.

The cabin was more delightful than expected! It offers the best of both worlds: a vista view plus the sounds and sights of the river below. The short hike down to the river is easy. The cabin is clean and so cozy. We had three adults, two kids, and a dog and had plenty of room. The kitchen has all the items you’d need - just bring your ground coffee. Check out was easy with a very short list of requests. Loved the stove fireplace and friendly host. We plan to visit again in the summer.

The history of the cabin as being built in the 1837, and brought to Dahlonega in 1987. Very clean and the best stock kitchen as dishes, pots and pans with spices, paper towels and even toilet tissue, that myself and friends have had. The was our yearly ladies trip. The only real thing I can say bad is some of the mattresses were too firm. So if you like a firm mattress. Really enjoyed the cabin and the host were tops do bring chairs for the fire pit, no benches.

This cabin was absolutely fantastic! The sounds of the river flowing from the back deck porch area were unmatched. We were able to relax on the back porch with my parents, husband, and baby girl as some rain came in the second afternoon there - and it was a special memory with it being so peaceful there. It was a perfect weekend getaway for our family while we attended a wedding in the Dahlonega area. The hosts were simply amazing too letting us check in a bit early so we could have time to get ready for the wedding - and were super quick to reply to all questions we had. Would definitely recommend this cabin if you're looking for a perfect north Georgia getaway with your family or small groups of friends!

We loved the cabin and really enjoyed the river behind the cabin. The pictures online were a little confusing when we got there because we thought the river was right beside the cabin but once we figured out how to get to the river, we were relieved! We lived all the fresh flowers around the cabin and we were fascinated with the history of the cabin! We had a great time and I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!

Historical Stay

My family and I had a wonderful time in this historical log cabin! We chose it not only for the history but also its location to the water and it did not disappoint. The pictures are accurate and what you see is what you get. When I had questions I received quick replies. I give this place 10/10. We would recommend:)

Fantastic house in a great location

The historic house was well appointed and very comfortable located on one of the prettiest stretches of river in North Georgia. Extremely quite..never saw a car pass by over the three days we were there over the fourth of July weekend. Deer are a plenty. Fishing was slow but still very enjoyable. We will be back :)

A lovely mountain getaway

We had 6 girls for a bachelorette trip stay here and it was awesome. We were a low key group, and this was absolutely perfect for going into town during the day on Saturday and staying in in the evenings. The river sounds were perfect and relaxing and the trail to get to the river is well kept. We would love to stay here again!

Perfect Christmas stay!

We LOVED the cabin!!! The setting is beautiful and you’ll want to spend all day on the deck listening to the river below and watching birds. The cabin was gorgeous, rustic and very cozy. We were impressed with how well appointed it is and you’ll be able to easily cook a big meal there, if needed. We celebrated Christmas there and had a lovely meal, while never leaving the cabin that day. It’s also in the country, but not at all far from Dahlonega and Helen, and the restaurants and sites they offer. We will definitely return for future family gathering and highly recommend this place. The owners were great and communicated well with all of my questions and inquiries. Thank you!!

Beautiful historic cabin

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. It’s stocked with everything needed for a few days. The porch view and sounds of the rushing waters are relaxing, didn’t get to enjoy the porch as much as we wanted because it was a little too cold while we were there. We found the king size bed to be uncomfortable, it could use a mattress topper, but since it was just two of us, we moved to another bed that was more comfortable. Everything else was perfect and we would definitely stay here again.

River bliss

Therapeutic sound from the river not only reaches you when you relax on the porch, but also to the upstairs bedroom. Fun property to walk/climb, great spacious cabin. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Hosts were great.
