Guest house a Dalton-in-Furness

“Location was perfect right in the centre of historic Hawkshead ask about car parking at the primary school. On Suite was very small, the vanity didn’t drain properly, the sensor light is a pain when you don’t want to wake-up your partner at night! A common problem with all accommodation in the Uk is that only having a Duvet on the bed to hot to use and worst no top sheet, Duvets are to hot in winter because of the heating and to hot in summer with no air conditioning and with no ventilation...

“Very clean, room was spacious, couldn’t fault anything”

“Friendly helpful staff, great location and wonderful breakfast”

“We loved the huge room, lovely sofas, great kitchen with microwave, fridge, kettle, crockery, cutlery, etc. The castle and grounds were beautiful, the owls adorable and the games fun. Fantastic stay - highly recommended.”

“Great communication with host and location excellent.”

“Very comfy and clean, lovely breakfast, great location”

“I had a great time staying at this lovely BnB. It was clean, and homely which is what one needs after travelling 24 hours. I arrived right after the peak summer but was still a bit warm, they provided the last fan available and it was great! Highly recommend this accommodation with many off street parking. I did not have breakfast at the property so am unable to comment on this. I'm pretty low maintenance as a traveller but the owners kept checking in on me as I was coming in and going out. This...

“Fantastic stay. Paula and Richard were very friendly and accommodating. Food on offer was delicious.”

“Lovely clean and convenient. Breakfast was great as was the service. Highly recommend.”

“The room facilities were a bit disappointing. The TV remote control did not respond properly, some of the letters on the buttons had worn off, and the remote itself was quite dirty, so I did not feel comfortable touching it. In addition, The bidet toilet seat was also switched off, so I could not use it on the first day. Overall, I felt that the room facilities were not properly checked before my arrival.”
