I saw the manager/owner often and you could tell she took a lot of care with the facility; event down to the mist/aroma as you entered the lobby. The staff was all very hospitable from the FD clerk to the the hskp staff that I passed in the hallways. Nice gem of a hotel in Danville

By far one of my top 3 worst place to have stayed .. no clean wash wrags, no shampoo, conditioner was lotion I think, tv wouldn't change channels , back door coming into the property was messed up would not unlock at all it took 15 mins to get into that door in the pouring rain! People beside me have had sex an put off a god awful smell it's by far worst place I've ever tried to stay in. For me to spend 80$ on this is like wiping my ass with money, I want my money back for this stay !

So the room my sister and I had smelled like cigarettes and I mean like a heavy smoker was in that room. The pillow cases had blood stains on them. My sister and I went downstairs to let them know. The receptionist came to our room and sprayed air freshener. Worked temporarily but other than that it was ok . And I pushing the ok. Because it could have been better.

Meth use in the rooms, our towels were used. Meth use by employees, cleaning staff and office. Random yelling and slamming of doors all night long. They charged my card for the stay and then is currently making random charges to my card. Unsafe for anyone there alone.

I like that every time I’ve stayed there it always smells good. The staff is always friendly, and the rooms are nice. The only issue I have encountered is when I got an “accessible” room, the room was spacious but the tub wasn’t. There were no hand rails or anything in the tub/shower. Otherwise everything was great! Definitely will stay there in the future.

We were simply told that the property had been sold to the railroad by an very unprofessional staff member at the desk. Though we paid for the room, they offered no reimbursement! Upon check in, to be told that the room you paid for did not exist, was utterly shocking! Then to be treated with callous disregard and forced to walk out of the hotel without a room on a busy weekend was inexcusable.

There where roaches in my room. I went to the front desk and told them they said of the big man came today. Then I paid for a king bed room with microwave and refrigerator and got stuck in a room with double beds no refrigerator or microwave. I went to the front desk to ask they said oh there’s nothing we can do our manger said all of our rooms are booked.

Wish I'd slept in my car at arrest stop
Broken windows, missing light fixture globes, no USB charging ports on the desk, only decaf coffee, missing shower curtain liner, too few & too thin towels, moth holes eaten in the dangling window curtain, tv wall mount hung way out of plumb and the BUGS! Yes, stink bugs infesting the property. Staff removed dozens but there were half a dozen back in hours. Management is absentee and unresponsive, leaving housekeepers and desk clerks to fend for themselves with no tools to correct or compensate for managements neglect and failure to do the most basic of management tasks.

This hotel was remodeled a few years ago and it is still heads and shoulders above many other places in the Danville area. We stayed at the Baymont in Harrodsburg the past four years for our annual event and it went downhill fast, opted to stay at the Red Roof Inn Plus in Danville this year and loved it, will def be returning next year, this place is GREAT and has very comfy beds too. They go above and beyond for pet friendliness too !!

The staff were very friendly, but that was the only thing that was a plus. Room was musty smelling, the floors were so dirty that my sons feet were black from about 2 minutes of walking on them, beds were uncomfortable and super squeaky. They tell you if you need anything to call the front desk, but they're wasn't even a phone in our room. I've never seen that at any motel. I couldn't even use my cell because there wasn't a number to call besides the 1800 redroof. For over $100 a night, this place should have something going for it besides just great employees! We were staying due to funeral services for my sister so it was just a place to sleep, but We will definitely not be staying here the next time we visit family!
