Riverbend Retreat GA è una grande casa Pet Friendly su 2 piani situata su un bellissimo e tranquillo torrente mareale situato in un quartiere tranquillo e sereno vicino a Darien, sulla costa della Georgia. Questa casa offre un bacino di acque profonde, stazione di pulizia del pesce e doccia esterna. Riverbend Retreat è conveniente per I-95, Savannah, Brunswick, St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island e Jacksonville, FL ed è circondata da maestose querce coperte di muschio spagnolo. La casa ha grandi finestre e porte che consentono una splendida vista sul fiume e sulle paludi. C'è un portico schermato e grande terrazza con vista sul fiume dal livello principale.

La cucina dispone di elettrodomestici Jenn-Air, Electrolux e Bosch e si affaccia sulla zona pranzo e una grande camera familiare con camino. La Master Suite, che è grande quasi quanto la cucina, la sala da pranzo e l'area per famiglie, ha un letto king Select Comfort (numero del sonno), area salotto, camino, mini-ufficio e ampio bagno con grande vasca e doccia privata gabinetto. Inoltre c'è una zona salotto con due poltrone reclinabili con schermo piatto da 50 "t. Le altre camere sono grandi con vanità private e splendide viste sulla vita all'aria aperta.

Ci sono 3 kayak per persona singola, 1 kayak doppio e una canoa leggera che può essere goduta durante il vostro soggiorno. Ci sono anche pagaie per la canoa e kayak, giubbotti di salvataggio e 10 biciclette nel garage per 2 auto. La bicicletta è rilassata e bella mentre si snoda tra le querce e la fauna selvatica che coprono la penisola. C'è anche un grande birdwatching con un percorso naturalistico che ti consente di accedere a una fauna rara ed esotica.

C'è un porto turistico con un ascensore e la rampa della barca a pochi minuti dove si può mettere la barca in acqua e acquistare esca. Porta la tua barca, legala al molo e goditela per pescare, sci nautico, tubi e accesso alle isole vicine. Ma per favore nota, non sono permesse imbarcazioni private ad acqua (PWC) e la velocità al minimo (senza scia) è richiesta vicino a banchine e barche.

We loved this unique place near the little town of Darien. We were looking for someplace different to go and experience, and we found it here. Darien is a fun little town and area. The home is in a private and quiet neighborhood on the marshy water. We enjoyed daily walks and sitting on the deck watching the tide come in and out. Lovely sunsets. The screened in porch was nice for lounging in the evenings. We were blessed to have seen a beautiful bald eagle in the pine tree outside the house. The home itself has everything and more than what you may need. The kitchen is overstocked with anything you can imagine. Just bring your beach towels, sunscreen and maybe your bug spray for days when it is not breezy. Shell Creek Seafood is a must for picking up fresh seafood and is only about 10 minutes away. We enjoyed day trips over to the Golden Isles, St Simon and historical Jekyll Island on the beautiful beaches on the Atlantic. Thank you to Cindy for the awesome communication throughout and for checking in on us upon arrival.

This property was exactly as pictured/described. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, this is the one - the neighborhood is super quiet. Furniture is very comfy, kitchen has every single thing you might need, and the screened-in porch was just lovely. We enjoyed all types of weather and the view is simply amazing! We walked, biked, kayaked, visited the town, and did a lot of bird-watching. We want to thank the property owners for sharing their piece of paradise - they are excellent hosts and have truly thought of everything. We will be back!

We spent a long time searching for the perfect location for extended family to spend Christmas together and we chose correctly! This location on a deep water creek was scenic and unique. We weren’t familiar with Darien, but found it to be not over-touristy with plenty to see and do. There’s a lot for the nature lover and history buff to revel in here-we wished we had more than a week! The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The hosts had decorated it for Christmas, which was really nice. Our teens loved the games in garage and fishing off the dock. We saw lots of birds, dolphins, and my brother-in-law even saw an otter!

This was a 50 yr old birthday vacation. And it could not of been better. From the beautiful drive to the property to the stunning views in the backyard, this place did not disappoint! Place is exactly as described. Communication with the PM was very prompt and friendly. Thank you Ms. Cindy! We will have this place saved for a for sure return.

Excellent stay. Cindy and Jeff were very responsive and cordial. The house overlooked a bend in the river with expansive marsh views. We saw over 40 species of birds just from the deck. Dolphins too. The house is well appointed with plenty of basic supplies. I was especially pleased with the plethora of kitchen towels. Be sure to stop by Shell Creek Seafood (on 99 near 17) for shrimp and fish on your way in. I hope to return.

We have done several VBRO rentals in the US, and some sponsored by competitors in Europe, and we have never stayed in a home as well prepared for guests as this one. Every cooking device we wanted, a cabinet filled with spices, a charcoal and a gas grill, bikes, kayaks, and games. Close to shopping, but a very private home. Wow! Cindy was "on-call" and responded to our questions, but truthfully, we had very few questions. The internet was fast, we used our Netflix account for TV, and watched Football on the cable stations. This property was very well kept and very clean and organized. The kitchen was very well stocked. We had a great time catching shrimp and using them for bait to catch our fish…which was our dinner one night 😊. The host, Cindy and Jeff, were great..:easy to contact and kept in touch making sure our stay was going great. They provided all kinds of games, had a ping pong table, bikes and kayaks. It was a very nice home and we had a great time. I would recommend to anyone.

We loved our stay! The home is amazing and exceptionally appointed. We could not get enough of the gorgeous view from the second floor deck. We saw dolphin every day. The hosts were awesome. You can tell have a heart for taking care of thier guests. We highly recommend this property for those looking for the perfect vacation rental home.

What a wonderful time! This trip was our Christmas gift to the kids/grandkids, something we switched to doing 6 years ago instead of material gifts. The home is amazing, location perfect. Jeff and Cindy are the nicest hosts ever!! We visited Jekyll Island, Driftwood Beach, St Simon’s Island and a quick trip to Amelia Island in northern Florida. While we loved beach time, our favorite was swimming/kayaking in the river right at home. From the dock we also fished, caught a few small fish, a sea trout and a couple of young stingrays that were released. We found that the current slows almost to nothing about an hour before high tide. Lots of games, bikes to ride, and a table tennis/pool table in the garage. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t there. The back deck with the sail shade was so relaxing along with the hammock on the lower patio. Overall this vacation is at the top of our favorites!! Thank you Cindy and Jeff, we’ll be back in a few years.

Everything about our vacation was perfect! Cindy and Jeff were fabulous hosts! Any questions were answered promptly. Great location for boating. Spent a lot of time riding through the creeks and going out to the beach area on Sapelo. House is completely furnished with everything you could possibly need! Can’t wait to come back 😊!

We really can't say enough how perfect this was for our family. The house was exceptionally clean and organized. We had plenty of room to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. We were able to dock our boat at the house which was very nice not to have to worry about keeping the boat at a marina. We spent a lot of time on the screen porch at night reading and playing board games. We can't thank the owners Cindy and Jeff for there hospitality and communication. We will definitely be back.

We had such a relaxing 5 nights at this property. The neighborhood is gorgeous for walking. My husband fished nonstop on the dock and caught 15 different fish species (he catches all sizes and types!) the views were beautiful from the deck and inside. The house was very clean and VERY well stocked. We appreciated that for cooking! Cindy was readily available via phone if we needed her and very kind. We loved this stay!!!

What a gem!!! We stayed with our kids and grandkids. There was plenty of room for everyone. The location was perfect for fishing, kayaking, bike riding and relaxing. The kitchen was so well stocked…we love to cook big meals. The kids were never bored…between the bikes, lots of board games, foosball table, ping pong…. Cindy and Jeff have made this a home away from home. We look forward to coming back! Thank you for being such gracious hosts!

Possibly one of the best rentals we've ever experience, but without a doubt, Cindy was the BEST host we've ever experienced! She made us feel right at home and was easy to text and speak to if needed. She has a heartfelt way of making her guests feel comfortable and makes sure guests are "in the know" of the area and the property. The Spanish moss and palm tree lined drive to the house was breathtaking! Our cares started to melt away on approach to this wonderful property. The house had everything, including unbelievable river views(we even saw dolphins splashing around)! We spent most of the time on the porch/screened in-porch watching wildlife and eating B&J's Georgia wild shrimp and prime rib sandwiches. I did have to work remotely a few days while visiting, but with the great scenery, it was the most serene remote working ever! WONDERFUL SUNSETS! We will return! Many thanks to Cindy and Jeff!

We chose this location for a friends reunion since it was centrally located for 10 of us. Cindy was great to work with in helping with questions about the property and our rental. When we arrived, we were even happier with the rental! The place is so well stocked with anything you possibly need! The house was big enough that you could get away from others when you needed a break. The layout was perfect though I wish it had just one more bedroom. We fished, floated, kayaked, biked and played ping/pong and pool. We put 2 puzzles together and played many games. It was exactly what we needed for a weekend reunion. Oh, and the outdoor shower was the BEST! I think it may have been the only shower used all weekend! Cindy, thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home. We will definitely be back!M.

We had a great time hanging out at the river but also a great location for day trips to Saint Simons, Savannah, or Cumberland Island. Loved kayaking through the march and wine on the back porch at sunset!
