Welcome to Hibernation Haven, a renovated 2-bedroom cabin in Black Bear Resort with a vaulted wood ceiling, wood-burning fireplace (firewood provided), jetted tub and new split-unit A/C. Sleeps 6: a queen bedroom plus a loft with a queen and a bunk bed. The resort pool, mini golf, pickleball and playground are steps away, and Canaan Valley, Timberline, Blackwater Falls and Dolly Sods are minutes away. Dogs welcome (2 max).

Guests have the entire cabin. Parking for 2 vehicles at the cabin, with more at the main lodge.

-Winter: 4WD/AWD, snow tires or chains are required in winter months
-Dogs welcome (2 max); please pick up after them. No cats.
-Please bring toothbrushes, K-cups and cooking oil/spices
-Quiet hours after 10 PM
-Mirror Lake: guests get access to Mirror Lake, a private recreation area with canoeing, kayaking, swimming and fishing, with complimentary gear
