  • As you pull up to this beautiful home nostalgia seems to grab you and transport you back to a simpler time they don’t make homes like this anymore so you have to enjoy the few that are left you will step in the formal living room which is perfect to just hang out & watch movies or have a bottle of wine with the one you love.❤️ The marble bathroom with mosaic marble floors the shower is big enough for six people with many shower heads dispersing water over every inch of your body. Great eat in kitchen with coffee bar! You make your way to the bedroom & you start to gasp at just how beautiful & gorgeous the bedrooms are. Crisp linen & plush comforters & addition desk is in the bedroom just in case you need to get some work done or add a mirror to transform into a vanity to have a space to create the beautiful person that you are rather it be for a wedding night or a night on the town or just for that special engagement! Had a lovely overnight stay. Apartment was clean and check in/check out was easy and straightforward. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that the insulation between apartments wasn’t great so we heard our neighbors all night, the bed was hard for my liking so sleep was difficult, and the hot water in the shower ran out after 5 minutes. But other than that the place was lovely.

Birthday trip

Our stay was pleasant. It's important to note that the property has a parlor upon entering and the rest of the rooms/bathroom are upstairs. The staircase is a long flight of 19 steps. Overall the place was clean except for the kitchen table and fridge were pretty dirty. Thankfully we had some wipes with us to clean those areas before use. the king beds are incredibly comfortable & we all slept very well.

Renter beware! The host for this place is the worst! I have never been disrespected before by any VRBO host and I have been renting for over a decade all over the country. Due to this terrible host, I won’t ever rent in Dayton, Ohio again.I had to contact VRBO over 5 times with one being at check in because we never received check in information. We came to our very dark and scary curbside appealed house at 11pm. So staying on the phone with VRBO AND our phone lights on wasn’t ideal at check-in.Then the following night, two other people entered our rental and was given the code from the host because their other place wasn’t accessible.When I talked to the host about it, he TOLD us this wasn’t a security issue. And NEVER apologized. He tried to give me hush money of 50 to not write a review-I think that may be why there is only three other reviews on this place.False description: No BBQ grill, there is no dryer, the washer is rusted, the street has two fully abandoned houses. There is no front porch light. There is no central ac-it is a window unit in each bedroom. We had to use the fan for the hall to keep cool and it was April when we stayed. As noted before there are steep wood steps walking into the main livings area. There is NO deadbolt on the front door and we used one of the armchairs bc we were afraid we would have more unwanted guests.Also, we were threatened by the host that he was going to kick us out because we wouldn’t call him back. Terrible experience!
