Subject: Extremely Disappointing Stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Daytona
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment following a recent stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Daytona. While the valet service was attentive and courteous throughout the weekend, unfortunately, the rest of the experience was highly unsatisfactory.
Several days during our stay, there were no clean towels available—neither for our room nor for the pool. When we inquired, we were told that the staff “didn’t wash that day,” leaving us with no choice but to purchase towels offsite, which was completely unacceptable.
Additionally, the elevator was out of service for the first few days. Our room was on the 6th floor, and having to carry luggage and escort three small children up and down the stairs multiple times was exhausting and took valuable time away from our trip.
The most troubling part of our stay occurred when I went to the front desk to have my room key revalidated. Despite providing my name (which the room was under) and valid ID, I was denied access due to “system issues.” The front desk clerk on duty, Jenna, was unhelpful, dismissive, and rude—stating, “It is what it is.” I pleaded for a resolution but was met with hostility. When I requested to speak to a manager, he also refused to help. Shockingly, Jenna went so far as to call me out of my name and made an unnecessary, inappropriate comment about how she “makes more money than me.” This behavior was not only unprof
