Overall the condo is as described. Be sure to read the full description of the condo and know the pool is not there and there is no direct beach access. There is still a lot of construction and repairs going on from the hurricanes in 2022, but it's still a great place to vacation.
Pros - the view from the balcony is fantastic! We enjoyed sitting outside drinking our coffee. The condo is just how it's pictured. We had a few issues, but the owner was responsive. So, we appreciated the communication. The check in / check out process was easy and we like this area of Daytona Shores. We've vacationed in this area for decades.
Cons - I personally did not find the master bed comfortable. My husband seemed to sleep fine, but it was way too firm for me. It was nice having assigned garage parking, but just know it's underground and you have to go up a flight of stairs. So, unpack the car before you park your car (we did not!). It was unfortunate that there is no direct access to the beach, but after seeing all the damage in the area, it was understandable. However, getting to the beach is not hard, it's just not direct access.
We would encourage anyone to visit this area of Daytona. There are great places to eat, grocery stores are close by, it was very quiet when we were there and despite the construction going on in the area, it's still a good place to vacation.
