Cottage a De Pere

“This hotel is really run down! You are met at the front door with dirty entryway rugs, hardwood floors that haven’t been refinished in at least 20 years, and carpet that’s rippled and torn. Plus the whole hotel reeked of pot everywhere. Our room smelled musty, had burned out light bulbs, and the carpet needed to be cleaned. Lighting in the room was really poor but might be better if they just replaced all the light bulbs. Breakfast was an experience. It was served from 7 to 10:30 a.m. but...

“The front desk lady was super nice and helpful, but when I started walking to my room, I noticed bad smells and stains all over the carpet. When I opened my door, it smelled like animal pee and mold. It wasn't very clean, and I knew right away I couldn't stay there. I think people are actually living in this hotel. Sketchy people were outside and I did not feel safe. I knew I couldn't stay after 5 minutes of entering the room. Thankfully, I got a refund, but needless to say, I'll never try to...
