Benvenuto a Claim Digger, la tua casa lontano da casa! Situato nel Powder House Pass, la nostra cabina ti permette di uscire dalla porta e di fare escursioni / andare in bicicletta / in motoslitta / ATV senza lo sforzo di attaccare un rimorchio! Raccogli un po 'di storia mentre esplori i reclami minerari o controlla le vecchie case di polvere direttamente dalla tua porta sul retro! Ma non è tutto ciò che è fuori dalla tua porta sul retro, dato che ti troverai nel cuore del corridoio ricreativo nella splendida Black Hills settentrionale! Il Mickelson Trail e Snowmobile Trail # 5 sono adiacenti al Powder House Pass, sul lato orientale e occidentale. Stai cercando di fare un giro turistico? Il canyon di Spearfish, con le sue splendide sporgenze di roccia e i torrenti di montagna, offre grandi arrampicate su roccia, escursioni e pesca alla trota e dista solo 5 minuti. Deadwood, Terry Peak e Majestic Miner Ski impianti sono anche a 5-10 minuti in auto mentre il monte. Rushmore, Keystone e Hill City sono a soli 45 minuti! Solo 15 miglia al di fuori di Sturgis per godersi la vista sulla tua moto, posizione perfetta durante il Sturgis Bike Rally ad agosto di ogni anno!

Dopo aver esplorato tutto il giorno, sarai felice di tornare a casa e immergerti nella vasca di rame, o goderti i suoni pacifici e guardare la fauna selvatica dalla vasca idromassaggio sotto uno dei due portici coperti. La cabina ha anche una suite familiare con un re letto e una camera da letto separata da un bagno, insieme ad altre 2 suite king! Se questo non è abbastanza spazio, il soppalco ha anche un divano letto matrimoniale e le porte della stalla personalizzate possono essere chiuse per la privacy. Il salone del piano principale ha un incredibile muro a due piani di finestre adiacente al concetto di cucina aperta e sala da pranzo perfetto per creare quei meravigliosi ricordi con la famiglia e gli amici. Ci piacerebbe che tu fossi nostro ospite nella nostra bella cabina a tema minerario, Claim Digger!

Somewhat good!

Several issues while we were there.1. Appearance outside was filled with tall grass and weeds. Not a pleasent site to behold.2. Had to blow outside sidewalk off, clean all tables and chairs as a greed substance was all over.3. Could not get stove up to required temperature to cook!4. Overall, it didn't look like house cleaning did their thing before we arrived!

Home in the Hills

I believe this was our 4th stay here. The house is always clean, well kept and well stocked. The grandkids love having access to the pool. Always a pleasurable stay. Feels like coming home.

Beautiful house and location.

The house had everything we needed. The hot tub, fire pit, clubhouse with pools, multiple bedrooms/bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and grill, 2 car garage. It was perfect for our families. The manager was timely with communication and even let us check in 1 hour early. Would definitely stay again!

Renter Beware

The house has a nice layout & location. We enjoyed our stay & left the place cleaner than required even though there was a substantial cleaning fee. (Cleaned gas range, wiped down refrigerator, counters, swept, etc.). Some furniture & rugs were worn, but it was comfortable. The gas grill was extremely dirty and a tub upstairs barely drained. There were a few other issues, but nothing we couldn’t manage. What put a HUGE Damper on the whole experience was the rude text we received from the owner on our way home… “These are photos today of chocolate melted and chunks all over our carpet. There is going to be a charge deducted from your deposit. This is not how one should ever treat another person’s property.” We weren’t aware of leaving it?? We take insurance out, but have never had issues…if we did drop something then it should be covered. Whether we are right or they are is not the issue… it was the RUDENESS of the owners text. We would suggest that if you are considering renting the house you take before & after photos to cover your tale.

Great set up for families!

Loved that there were 3 king sized beds for couples! The bunk room was a little inconvenient since you have to walk thru the master bedroom and bath to get to it. Never did get connected to the wifi, password wouldn't work. kids loved the hot tub. Had a great long table for everyone to sit at. nice clubhouse.

Nice home

It’s a very nice, comfortable home. We had a difficult time controlling heat issues, but we prevailed! The clubhouse is just across the road, is a stretch! At -10 you have to drive to play pool! The photos in the description makes it seem like the pool table and shuffle board are in the home. It’s not described until you read all the small print! In a better time of year, this is a perfect vacation place!

Great house near Deadwood, Spearfish Canyon

We liked the layout of this house. The upper level had a large lounge/living room of its own that could be closed off by barn doors to the open living room below, so if you had kids and adults or men and women that wanted their own space for different activities it would work. Very nice bedrooms and bathrooms for all. The open concept let us all cook, craft, and talk as a group on the main level. We saw deer right outside our windows every day.

Best VRBO

This was the third time our family has stayed at the Claim Digger and it felt like coming home. The youngest of our group was 9 and the oldest was 70 something, and all found the home and area comfortable and beautiful. The kids enjoyed the pool and biking around the neighborhood. We hope to stay again next fall, just wish we could stay a little longer next time!

Labor Day weekend

Even with hiccups

Even with a few hiccups with the property the host was always willing to answer my messages and was extremely helpful. Made our stay fantastic! We used this as a focal point for our family Annual Hills Side by Side Ride. It was centrally located with amazing clubhouse amenities. They house was clean, beautiful, and comfortable for our large group. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home in the Hills!

This house was very nice, clean and spacious! Very large living room, dining and kitchen area. Nice, comfortable and sturdy furniture. Nice patio area with fireplace and grill. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked well. Wi-Fi worked well. Short walk to the clubhouse which was very nice as well. Short drive to nearby towns. Owners have a book with information about nearby towns, activities and restaurants which was helpful. A few things I think are good to note for families with kids...The bunk bed room is off the master bedroom and bath, it's the walk in closet for the master but a makes a great bedroom for kids. Also there is no yard, it's tall weeds. Seems to be like that throughout the development. If you have kids that's good to know I think. Overall a great home! Didn't have to contact the owners for anything during our stay. So much to do in the area!

We greatly enjoyed our first trip to South Dakota. Very nice house. Beautiful scenery and hikes close by. Enjoyed the Black Hills and The Badlands were amazing.
