Top of the Pine was perfect for our family of 13 - plenty of room to spread out but yet be together. We loved to hang out on the back deck to visit & eat. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking (Important for us as we ate most meals at our cabin.) There was even an extra fridge in the garage which worked great for us! We had five children under 5 so having a pool to go to plus a hot tub was perfect for the 90 degree days we experienced when we were there. The kiddos also loved the big driveway and spent a lot of time there with their bikes & sidewalk chalk. There would be plenty of room for ATV's! The managers were quick to respond to any questions and concerns (including removing a hornet's nest we found on the porch!) We'd definitely consider coming back to Top of the Pine on another visit to the Black Hills.

Great location. 10 min from Terry Peak, 15 from Lead & 20 from Deadwood. Weather was gorgeous! Ski’d in sweatshirt and wore no gloves! House is perfect for our family of 9. Had about everything we needed for a 4 day quick trip!

Really enjoyed the property. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Would love it more if it had some outdoor games like basketball hoop, or bean bag toss. Great location too!

Close access to the community pool and we had plenty of room for our family. Within driving distance of deadwood and spearfish. Management was very responsive when we had issues with the hot tub. Would definitely stay at this location again.
