“We arrived on a Tuesday evening, and the only non-Casino restaurant was closed. We had to eat in the casino itself, which was a turn-off. This is a nice small casino, if that is what you are into. We just weren't into it.”

“We only stayed one night as we were in Anacortes to take the ferry to the San Juans, but we will absolutely stay at the Marina Inn again should we venture up that way. The staff was super friendly, room was exceptionally clean, and they take hospitality very seriously. They had fresh baked cookies in the lobby at check-in, and after we'd been in the room about 15 minutes, the front desk called to make sure everything was to our liking. Just a very well run operation staffed by very nice humans.”

“The Hero is great for a romantic getaway with spa services. The jetted tubs in the rooms are enormous. The ambiance is cozy. The free breakfast includes eggs made to order. The massages are awesome. We will be back.”

“We stay here every RAGNAR and always book the big suite for our team! The breakfast is great but this year even though I reserved the same suite we were given a standard room. That was disappointing.”

“Our room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. The pool ended up being closed for the day which was a huge disappointment to my kids. Otherwise, a comfortable hotel for the night.”

“I'll start with the two positives: it's cute on the outside and the front desk guy was friendly and check in was quick. There were no positives after getting to the room. The place is run down and filthy. The floors were so dirty that my white socks were black on the bottom from walking on them and the bathroom was just gross. I do not recommend if you like a clean place to stay - so disappointing.”

“The manager was responsive and it was quiet. There were some cleanliness and general maintenance issues. The tub drain was full of hair, tub faucet handle fell off, bulb burned out. One of the mattresses needs replacing. Needs a good, deep cleaning. Coffee was good.”

“The location and the view from our room was amazing. The room size was good and the decor and other room essentials were great. If you are looking to have front desk service, there was little to none but did not impact our enjoyment of our room. This establishment does not have a front desk person (s) at all times. Otherwise, we loved our stay in Anacortes!”
