"Trout Retreat" è una vera e propria baita che si trova a soli quindici minuti fuori da Boone (a pochi minuti dal Blue Ridge Pkwy) e si trova in una cartolina simile a 21 acri con quasi 1/2 miglio di classe Un flusso di trote rifornito che corre direttamente dietro la cabina. Il flusso, Elk Creek, è valutato come il secondo flusso più pulito in tutto l'NC. Se stai cercando una cabina sul lato fiume non troverai una posizione migliore da nessuna parte. vi è abbondante fauna selvatica tra cui trote, cervi, tacchini, volpi, castori e uccelli.

La cabina Trout Retreat può ospitare fino a quattro persone con un letto king size, un divano letto, due bagni completi e una cucina completa e comprende tutti gli utensili, le lenzuola e gli asciugamani necessari per rendere il vostro soggiorno confortevole. La cabina ha anche un ampio portico schermato e un ponte con vasca idromassaggio privata che si affaccia sul ruscello e tavoli da picnic dove è possibile avere un'esperienza culinaria unica o semplicemente sedersi e rilassarsi ai luoghi e ai suoni del ruscello. C'è anche un camino a gas per creare un'atmosfera calda e accogliente in quelle fresche serate di montagna. Questa cabina offre privacy con facile accesso in un ambiente unico e pittoresco.

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay!!! Beautiful place with a beautiful view!! The host was super accommodating and very responsive. The snow just made the experience even better!! definitely would stay here again!

We booked the trout retreat as a long weekend getaway. This was just before a crippling winter storm hit most of the southeast. The manager’s communication with us in the days leading up to our arrival was excellent, including keeping us informed on the maintenance status of the hot tub, as well as offering provisions and concessions ahead of the winter storm.When we arrived, everything was as advertised. There was plenty of cookware, glassware, and utensils for us to eat in for all of our meals.Everything was clean, tidy, and in order. Our stay was during extreme cold temperatures, and this led to a large temperature differential between downstairs and the loft where we slept.There were plenty of towels, soap and shampoo supplied. There was a dedicated hot tub towel basket with plenty of towels. We used the laundry facility downstairs and that worked great also.We experienced issues with the hot tub being overheated, but there was maintenance staff on site when we arrived installing a part they had just received that afternoon. This leads me to believe that if there wasn’t a large snowstorm, preventing a technician getting to the house, arrangements would have been made to repair the hot tub immediately. In other words everyone was very responsive and even made accommodations for us to use the guest house hot tub instead.Lastly and most meaningfully to us, given the roads were really bad the day of our departure, our hosts worked with us on departure time.

The cabin was great!!! Highly recommend!!! It has everything that you could think of to make you comfortable. The property is great with the stream and a small waterfall. Very private and peaceful getaway.

We had a great stay at this little cabin. It’s just off a small creek, which I think they call a river, that is stocked with trout. We didn’t fish but all the equipment was available for use if we wanted. There wasn’t any cel service so make sure you print out the directions on how to get there and how to get in before you get there. Once you’re there though the WiFi was great if you do need to make a call. There was a slight communication error on our dates but the owner was very responsive and made sure we were taken care of. We had a great experience

The cabin was clean, well stocked, and very nice. The stream right in the backyard was amazing. So peaceful and the screened in back porch was perfect for early morning coffee and listening to the water and nature.

We were so happy at Trout Retreat for our long weekend away from home. The cabin was just the right amount of space for the 2 of us and our 2 little dogs. The cabin was very well appointed… we cooked all our meals and except for packing our 2 good knives and a meat free cutting board, we found everything we needed. We used the hot tub several times a day, enjoyed the ambience of the electric fireplace, found the smart tv too smart for us. We slept well listening to Elk Creek, and spent hours reading on the porch and walking along the river enjoying the changing colors.It was just the re-set we needed.The cabin is well used, obviously loved, just a touch funky and decorated in ‘cabin theme’ to the max. It was a really fun change of pace.

The cabin was better than described. We absolutely loved everything. One of the best vacations we have had. The cabin, the grounds, the creek, the location was perfect. It had everything we needed We didn't use the fireplace, grill, or firepit as we traveled a lot around the area. We did use the hot tub and played in the creek. We would definitely recommend this cabin and would love to come back one day.

Wonderful ideal stay. Location on large wooded property. Yard and stream perfect for dog or kids to play. Cabin as described and pictured ... clean, comfortable and well appointed. Gas fireplace great. Large gas grill. Terrific.Property 7 miles from main road via narrow, windy road. I personally loved it in our sports car. 2nd on-property cabin well positioned and not intrusive. Will return!!

The property was well kept, beautiful setting. Stream ran behind with lots of rocks, making it calming, soothing .Inside cabin was cozy, well appointed, gas fireplace, hot tub. Large counter in kitchen made it easy to snack or fix meals. We really enjoed screened in porch. King size bed great! Our senior dog enjoyed the big yard.

Quaint little cabin . Perfect for a couple as the bedroom is a loft room not a separate private room. The cabin inside was very clean. The screened in porch needs some attention. It really needs a good power washing and a new screen door. The creek and setting of the cabin is picture perfect. Enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely stunningly perfect property, so clean and well-managed! This was the loveliest get-away in the woods and mountains. The cabin was exactly as described; it really exceeded my expectations. I recommend it highly! The property owner and manager were so responsive and helpful when we had the tiniest issue -- they really went over and above the call of duty to get the satellite/internet issue fixed in time for me to get signed in to work on a Monday morning! (And, oh, how I wish I hadn't needed to work while there, but if you gotta, you gotta -- and there's no way to work better than to do it surrounded by a bubbling creek and the sounds of nature.) The whole week was just fabulous! All of the appliances are new, I think - there were no problems with anything mechanical. Enjoy the kingfisher on the creek and the copious flocks of butterflies -- and the deer in the front yard most mornings. Not to mention the hummingbirds at the orange flowers just behind the back porch. Oh! The fireplace! What a treat! I can't build a fire to save my life; thank goodness I didn't have to do that. I love this cabin! Can't wait to go back!
