Fishing cabin

We really enjoyed our stay. Kids loved the swing set and slide off the deck. It was close to the boat ramps for fishing. Cabin was stocked very well.

Cozy Weekend Getaway

We had the best stay at the fireside cabin. The cabin was very clean and had comfortable bedding. We enjoyed fishing and fires in the backyard firepit. Bryant was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. If you are looking for a quiet spot for a weekend getaway this is the place to be.

We didn't spend much time in the cabin, but the time spent was great! The beds are comfy, the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. Enough space for 8 people to visit. We comfortably. Will go again..

My fiancée loved me before…

…but now she’s head over heels after surprising her with this cabin for her birthday weekend. It was just the kind of thing she appreciates most, and the whole booking process was great for me too. There’s a freaky turkey perched near the front door, but even that had it’s charms.

Nice Stay

The owner was very nice and very easy to work with. The cabin was very well equipped and just a short walk down to the lake. And a neighbor left a big bag of fresh corn on the cob on the porch! :)

Labor Day 2023

Communication with the owner was a bit lengthy in getting a response. When I made the reservation I asked what type of grill was at the rental, I asked several more times to include during my 6 hour drive there and never got a response until I was half way there. Didn't get the access code for the door until after my check in time. Need to include in the information book at the rental that the lake (they tell you about a trail you can take) is good half mile away. Other than that we had a great time and would stay again.

We absolutely loved this property. We were looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay. The only sounds we heard were made by nature. This rental did not disappoint! We will definitely be back!

Quiet Perfection

First and foremost, Tracy was absolutely amazing with responding to all our questions and finding us possible places for waterplay. The cabin is absolutely perfect. It's cozy and nicely arranged with plenty of sleeping space. The hide-a-bed was perfect for rainy nights, so everyone could be close together if needed. The kids absolutely enjoyed every each of outside space, especially the slide. We had all the necessary pots and pans, towels, and whatevers to make vacation relaxing and enjoyable without having to eat out. There was a walking path to the lake that was enjoyable, and it was such a short driving distance to the lake it as itself. I can't say enough how wonderful this cabin was. We loved every moment. Thank you, Tracy, for the smore basket, too!

Very Inviting

We were very lucky to find this cute Fireside Cabin available for a couple of nights over Christmas weekend, as we were visiting family from out of state. Everything was very clean and the communication from the owner was very prompt. Unfortunately, we were there during record cold spell, so did not get to take advantage of the deck and outside fire pit, but in the warmer months would be great for relaxing under the stars. The cabin is not on the lake, but there is a view and it is just a short walk away. Would definitely recommend the Fireside Cabin and will plan to stay again on a future visit to the area.

Had an awesome time!

The Fireside Cabin had everything you would need and then some! Beds were very comfortable. The hostess was very accommodating and very responsive to any inquiries we had. We came down fishing and had a great time. The back deck and fire pit in the backyard are a great place for family get togethers and s’mores making. :) We look forward to coming back in the future.

Cute little cabin and helpful host

The cabin was clean and nice inside. There were plenty of amenities for our family of 5. Tracy left a little book with ideas of things to do in the area. She was also responsive when we had an issue with the VRBO messaging. Would definitely recommend this place to others.
