“Very disappointed with location. Property is located in the middle of nowhere. The roads were curvy and dark. No restaurants or gas stations close. The outside appearance looks like it’s still under construction. The inside was very nice, but no welcome basket or complimentary coffee/tea. I wouldn’t revisit. Priced too high. ”

“Technically the drive time to hikes in Acadia National park are really 25 minutes away from the property. It didn’t bother me too much because driving and seeing the views of Maine is beautiful. My room met my needs especially for the price. However there were lots of lady bugs alive and dead that I was sharing the space with lol. I was waking up at 6:30-7:00am due to the traffic of people driving along the road but I was starting my morning early anyways but just wanted to note for others. I...

“The cabin is tiny, but clean. There are communal areas to hang out and get more space if you need it, with some dishes and other supplies. Great communication from the property manager. The cabin was noisy and the white noise machine didn't work, but I was able to use the white noise machine on my phone. Also, there was a coffee maker but no cups. Overall, a pleasant enough stay.”

“Hosts easy to deal with. Place was neat and as promised. Nice place as a base to visit this part of Maine. Did Acadia NP, Whale watch, toured a couple Lighthouse spots, Did Bangor Steven King tour, and Upstate Moosehead Lake with a short walk on the AT. All easy drives from the rental. ”

“The price and location worked perfectly for us. It was wonderful to come back to some peace and quiet at the end of the day after being around So. Many. People. All day long. We had a private balcony overlooking a large lot where the kids played. It felt secluded even though it’s on a main road, walking distance to a bakery and coffee shop. The airport across the street was charming and we enjoyed watching the planes take off and land. Thank you to these great hosts!”

“We had a very enjoyable time. The hosts were excellent and responded to our requests quickly in text. We kicked off a fire in the pit,quiet, and place was very clean. The reason for the 4 stars is it is definitely an older property (1950s) and the beds were super firm. We plan to go again but try the individual canins. we found the beds super firm. “Great place, comfortable and clean. My father slept in the bedroom and said the bed was pretty comfortable. My husband and I slept on the pull out sofa, it wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped but it was suitable for a night. A curtain on the door would be nice for people who sleep on the pullout sofa, the light coming from the streetlamp across the street is quite bright. ”
