“This camp lodge is absolutely beautiful and feels like stepping back into a simpler time. It has a charming, nostalgic atmosphere that reminds me of a classic 1950s getaway. The grounds were incredibly clean, and it was clear that the staff put a lot of thought and care into every detail. The welcoming camping atmosphere made our stay truly special. “This was exactly what we needed on our drive up to Acadia National Park. A clean, non-expensive hotel room to stay the night. We got delayed on our trip and the office left instructions on how to get the keys and get into our rooms, including a well drawn map.
I'm taking off 1 star simply b/c there were only 2 towels in each room even though the reservation had 4 people in each room. I'm sure Hotels put 2 towels in each room as they turn them over, but it's a pet peeve of mine that someone...
