“I guess in this day and age, I’m not accustomed to paying extra for every single thing that one might expect to have included, like parking, or a cup of coffee for Pete sake. This isn’t Manhattan.”

“This hotel property was excellent and will be my go-to when passing through Springfield in the future. The service was excellent, friendly and professional. Breakfast was much better than expected with eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, a pancake maker, cereal etc. Pool and hot tub were well maintained! Hotel was clean and room was decorated super cute with a fish lodge theme. Leave it to Bass Pro to hit a home run! Highly recommend!”

“Tru by Hilton was a great choice for my family during a campus visit to Missouri State University. The hotel staff were warm and friendly. The hotel was very clean and the building is well maintained. Great amenities like breakfast, snack bar, gym, pool, and gaming areas. My family will stay again at this hotel.”

“Amazing decor, Restaurant and bar in the lobby was over the top good. it was a sleeper for sure. Room bed was super comfortable and well appointed. We will see you again, hopefully soon!”

“The room was a nicely decorated and clean. Much bigger than a hotel. You have a small living,dinning and bar. I didn’t really feel safe leaving our car outside the building seeing homeless around . It was self park so you had to find parking on the street . And the train going off every night several times a night. Because of the parking and the train in the back of the building I would not stay here again.”

“They have a very good breakfast. Their staff is amazing. Their housekeeping stays in order and on top of things they are great with children. They’re great with pets. They are very amazing place. I would recommend them to anybody that is wanting a peaceful place to stay.”

“Room was filthy, especially the bathroom. No soap, shampoo or any other basic bathroom necessities were in place. Showers curtain was filled with mildew. TV wasn't working correctly and we were told it would be replaced the next day. After returning the next day, the TV was new but we had no signal to watch anything. Asked for another room, but denied in leiu of a room discount. Breakfast was below average, but it was quiet. Staff were nice but the service and overall value was incredibly...

“The French toast/bacon was amazing. The O’Neil room was so cute, the bath was hot & comfortable. I also appreciated the balcony and how close things were. So glad I found this place instead of a hotel!”

“The breakfast was actually great for a hotel breakfast. Had a pancake maker, waffles, hot breakfast, cold options, and drinks and coffee. The lady checks your room number and how many people as you walk in to each which is a little strange and off putting but overall the staff was very kind. The room was okay as far as cleanliness. It had a strange smell like wet dog and we found hairs in the bathtub area that were certainly not ours. Also hairs stuck around the bottom of the toilet from where...
