We designed this 2br space for our family and friends to stay when they visit, and share it with others in between. We updated all 800 sqft to serve as a home base for someone coming for a couple of days or a couple of months. You'll love the indoor and outdoor feel of the place, and the secret hammock!

Getting Around: Guests are welcome to park on the street in front of the home. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get anywhere in San Diego from the home by car. Alternative transportation options are Lyft, Uber or the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System.

This property is a duplex, and the owners live in the unit above. There is a private entrance and requires one gradual set of stairs along the side of the property to get to the front door.
Please be aware: there are exterior security cameras at this property. The home is also equipped with NoiseAware
DURATION Check-in is 4:00PM or later unless other arrangements have been approved by the host.
Access instructions will be sent through the booking platform the morning of your stay only after the guest agreement has been signed.
Check-out is at 11:00AM unless previously discussed. Guests shall vacate the unit at the end of its rental period.
If the housekeepers arrive on time at 11:00 AM and the unit is not vacated, guests will be charged $100 every fifteen minutes past 11:00 AM (pass through) for their delay. Guests who overstay their reservation prevent us from offering reservations with same day transitions and creates operational challenges for our housekeeping staff and for guests arriving the same day. We are equally committed to making sure the house is ready for your arrival as well.
GUEST You must be at least 25 years old to reserve our property.
Guests who wish to make a reservation must have a completed profile on the booking platform, including an email, phone number, and a clear photograph of your face (so we know the person booking is in fact the person checking in).
NOISE This home is located in a quiet neighborhood. Our NoiseAware system monitors decibel levels and occupancy to help us maintain a respectful atmosphere. If excessive noise is detected, our software will automatically reach out to remind you of our quiet hours and rules related to noise levels. This technology respects your privacy and only monitors noise levels, not personal conversations or information. We have a zero-tolerance policy for noise complaints, parties or gatherings of any sort. Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. Quiet hours are daily from 10:00PM-8:00AM, but noise must be respectable regardless of the time of day. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us be good neighbors!
ADDITIONAL GUESTS, EVENTS, and GATHERINGS We ask that all guests let us know in advance if they plan on having any visitors during their stay. You may not have additional guests or visitors unless previously authorized by the host.
Unauthorized additional guests/visitors will result in an unauthorized visitor fee of $250 per person.
PETS Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at the property. Guests who bring unauthorized pets onto the property will be responsible for a fine of $250 per pet, and any additional cleaning charges based on the cleanliness of the home at time of check-out. Please note that even if there’s a no-pets policy, there may have been service animals in the past. We cannot guarantee that the property is completely free of pet allergens.
DAMAGE Guests are required to report all damage that occurred during their stay to the host via the booking platform, prior to check-out. We understand accidents happen, but guests will be financially responsible for any damage that occurs during their reservation that is not covered by the damage waiver.
Please do not remove any furnishings, equipment, or items from the unit, including any linen, dishes, or any other items from the unit. Guests will be liable for any additional costs, charges or expenses resulting from any damage, lost or stolen items, or excessive check-out cleaning.
SMOKING Our property is 100% smoke free; including both private and communal areas, the unit itself, and any other public areas within the building and the communal property regardless of whether inside or out. You must be totally off of the premises and on public property to smoke. If you're a regular smoker and feel you'll have a hard time following this rule we kindly suggest you look into another property.
Evidence of smoking will result in a fine up to $2,000 for smoke remediation.
ILLEGAL ACTIVITY No illegal activity or illicit substances are permitted on the premises: doing either will result in immediate eviction from the property, and may also result in law enforcement involvement.
SECURITY This property has a security camera at the entrance of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests.
FILMING & PHOTO SHOOTS If you’re interested in utilizing the space for film, television, music video or photo/film shoots of any kind, please contact the host to discuss details, approvals, pricing, etc.
INSURANCE Having operated throughout the pandemic, we recommend the booking platform's travel insurance for your reservation or booking with a credit card that has such a policy. In the event you need to cancel or alter your stay, the cancellation policy will be adhered to. Thank you for understanding.
