Perfect for entertaining or two families. Front part house has 2 bedrooms w 2 bath, kitchen, living room, dining room & front entrance to house. You can walk to the back courtyard through sliding doors in the dining room, or the french doors into master bedroom. Back bedrooms are entered through crtyd & the 3rd bth shard between them. You can enter the crtyd and back bdrms without entering front of the house. The living room & master bdrm have flat screen TVs, all TVs with full premium cable.
The space
Single floor beach house that has been treated with love and care. A lot of room, best value space wise in beach colony ( we've been doing this for over 40 years we know the compatition how to set up a rental we would want to be in )It's the first house we bought in Del Mar & was our beach house for many years. Bathrooms kitchen backyard showers all recently remodeled. We supply surfboards (soft to learn on by request) boogie boards beach chairs,towels, beach games. The court yard that brings it all together is amazing. Just bring your toothbrush and bathing suit. Basic, toiletries,condiments, house supplies provided definitely a bigger variety of all, then most offer and more than enough to get you started.There is only an alley and another house behind us to the beach. Unfortunately, you do have to walk a few houses over to the nearest public beach access. Less than half a block either to 20th or 21st beach. But u can hear the waves crashing at night in your bedroom. You will sleep well! we are also dog friendly, delmar has great beaches and parks for dogs. w do have a max of 2 ask u to keep them off the furniture, keep up after them. we also carry a $125 charge per Dog. there are exceptions to total amount but pls ask first if more than 2 before booking

Just click on the host icon to see other house sizes and dates available. we are a dog friendly house, but we do charge 125 per and have a limit of 2, we do make exceptions on case by case basis. please inquire first if using insta book if wanting to book with more than 2 dogs
Other things to note
There is only one house behind us then the beach. We are close enough you can hear the waves crash from your bed at night. Unfortunately there is no back gate access from backyard to beach yet (it's a property issue with neighbor) . So we ask guest to go out front gate or front door and walk around to beach. One note I’d like to make about this house is, it is not a shiny new house! It is the first house we bought of the four we own here. It has gone thru many upgrades thru the years, done with lots of love. This was the house our family lived in every summer when we came down from LA. We would do a little every time we came. Then, when we were building our house on 21st Street, we lived in this house & took the opportunity to do major upgrades that we couldn’t do when renting it before. We just lived thru the mess to get it great for YOU!! Ha ha ! Just so it's clear, once again, the back two bedrooms are separated from the front part of the house. It all opens up to the courtyard .back 2 bedrooms have their own bathroom as well. It is right next to the other front house, only separated by washer, dryer outdoor, fridge room. It gives a little more privacy if there is a 2nd family at night. If not , it's really just an extension of the house, but entered after u go through the courtyard
