di Welch Cottage è un tradizionale cottage in pietra costruito nella tranquilla frazione rurale di Trewalder 2 miglia dalla magnifica North Cornish Coast, a breve distanza di Bodmin Moor. Il villaggio di pescatori di Port Isaac, la posizione per 'Doc Martin' della serie tv è vicino. La spiaggia popolare surf di Polzeath si trova a 20 minuti in auto e anche roccia, famosa per i suoi sport acquatici e la baia Daymer una spiaggia popolare per rilassarsi al sole, o rock pooling.
Il cottage della porta accanto si possono trovare anche sui proprietari diretto (rif: E18212 Ruffcott) gruppi più grandi sono spesso prenotati entrambi.

Sehr nettes Cottage in einem kleinen Weiler und gut für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wir haben Gärten bis nach Fallmouth und an der Küste Newquay Port Isaac und Tintagel besucht, am Abend die Küche und die Couch genossen.

Lovely cottage in rural setting

Lovely stay in lovely cottage. My only comment is the number of huge tractors which were thundering past the house. We didn’t feel safe walking the dog on the narrow lanes due to this although obviously this would be seasonal. The house is comfortable and well equipped and the back garden is a very pretty sun trap.. Overall enjoyed our visit.

What a gem!

We have had a lovely stay at Welch's Cottage. It has everything you need and more! It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, very comfy, well equipped, has a beautiful garden and the peaceful & quiet area was just what we needed. Its a great base for exploring other areas of Cornwall. There is no light pollution from street lights so the view of the dark skies and stars from the garden is fabulous and worth stepping out onto the patio to view.

Lovely cottage

Welch’s cottage is beautiful and in a rural quiet location. Perfectly situated to visit all the attractions of the North Cornwall coast. We loved Port Isaac. We had plenty of room as a family of six adults and a small dog. Lovely enclosed garden for the dog. Very helpful owners, would highly recommend.

Perfect cottage for people with dogs

It was hard to find as there was a diversion but we enjoyed every minute. unfortnately due to weather conditions we could only use outside seating on first eventing, but the house is also great inside :-) Missed nothing at all

Cornish hideaway

Excellent property, as per description, all facilities worked, showers were great, host was prompt in replying to queries, nice welcome pack of essentials, milk, biscuits, proscecco.... nice secluded patio with furniture. Property in tiny hamlet well off the beaten track, but only 15 minutes to Port Isaac, and tintagel, 20 minutes to Rock.

Just what we needed

We considered ourselves lucky to have found such a lovely place to stay. A very comfortable and well furnished cottage in an ideal location for exploring this part of Cornwall. We would certainly like to book again.

Relaxing stay

Lovely cottage, as a dog owner would 100% recommend. Has all the facilities and amenities you need. One recommendation would be a handrail on the top of the stairs. Great location to explore North Cornwall. Thank you for the Prosecco and milk upon arrival.

The Dream Cottage

Welch cottage is absolutely beautiful. It is immaculate, cosy and has everything you could need. We had a wonderful week and we didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend.

A lovely week away

Great-sized cottage and very comfortable with 4 adults, 2 children and our dogs. Communication with the property owner was fantastic. Really lovely and peaceful. Well equipped. As in the property details, a car is definitely needed, but lots not far away. Highly recommend Polzeath beach. Would stay again.

Great stay

There were only 3 of us, so very spacious and would also be plenty of room for 5 or 6. Cottage was well equipped and all instructions were clear and concise. Nice touch to have tea, coffee, sugar, milk, locally made cake and a bottle of prosecco on arrival. Generally very clean, except for bath mat. Generally very comfortable, although matress in master bedroom could do with replacement. All in all a great cottage and lovely location.

Cosy cottage for New Year's Eve

Welch Cottage is very comfortable and Sharon was very helpful. It is extremely well equipped - we loved the wood burner and lots of sofas in the sitting room, and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed for a slap up New Year's Eve dinner. The showers are great, the only tiny (really tiny) let down was the size of the towels which were a bit small. We're planning to return in the summer to take advantage of the patio, bbq and french windows!

Fabulous cottage

A little off the beaten track this dog friendly cottage was perfect for for us. We were visiting Cornwall with some friends from the US and they were enchanted by the cottage, beautifully set up and well equipped with a large garden, plenty of space to relax after days spent visiting the popular sites which are easy to reach.

Narrow Cornish lanes lead to delightful property

Well-equipped cottage in a secluded village down narrow lanes. Large garden ideal for kids to kick a ball though toddlers might have difficulty with steps leading up to it. Staircase tricky for little ones/older guests too. TV and internet connection good. Master bedroom has the most powerful shower I have ever experienced!
