My trip to the &Beyond Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge in Botswana Africa, was an incredible experience. The staff at the lodges are so wonderful and caring, looking after their guest so incredibly well. Hot chocolates on the early morning safari trips are a highlight. I was travelling by myself after being with a group who went to Uganda and South Africa, so suddenly being alone was a little strange. At every meal at Xudum a staff member would eat with me to keep me company
The okovango Delta.My moko sunk so I had to hitch a 'ride' with my kiwi pals! .Be prepared to scoop water out!.Fun times but the black water freaked me out abit.If you want a real African experience then Botswana is for you!
The Okavango Delta is one of a very few large inland delta systems without an outlet to the sea, and in June 2014 Botswana’s Okavango Delta became the 1000th site inscribed on the World Heritage List. Even on a rainy day it’s such a beautiful place!
