Stylish artsy and rustic cabin getaway centrally located within walking distance to downtown and train depot.

Lodge includes WiFi, self check-in, wood burning fireplace, AppleTV (Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+), complimentary Keurig coffee and tea bar, free parking, private entrance, and bikes (June - Sept.).

Pack and play crib available during stay.

The Space:
The cabin is an extra large space with a full kitchen, laundry room, and a master suite with a claw-footed tub. There are three dedicated bedrooms, a pull-out couch and two full bathrooms. Downstairs living space for gathering around the fireplace/stove, a kitchen table for games and puzzles, and a full kitchen for making any meals you'd like. The upstairs TV room is great for reading, relaxing, or watching Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+ (all complimentary with your stay).

We have onsite caretakers that live in a basement apartment with a separate entrance. They can help assist with anything you might need during your stay.
* The upstairs deck, and main deck are schedule to be replaced in the spring. For guest safety the upstairs deck is not available for use until the replacement is complete.*

Guest Access:
Approximately 1600 square ft. Main level and second floor of lodge. Private deck and balcony.

The Neighborhood:
Talkeetna is a small unique town with great restaurants, breweries, and nightlife. Walking trails behind the home for a shortcut to downtown. All downtown attractions and restaurants are within 0.5-0.7 miles. Train depot is 0.7 miles away.

Getting Around:
Convenient location and within a mile walking distance of downtown restaurants, nightlife, and rail depot. We provide access to two bikes from June to September.

Liability Waiver:
You understand that the use of the wood-burning stove is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with fireplaces and stoves. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from use of the stove and fireplace and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that a wood-burning stove may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person in the cabin if a person has health risks, or if a person uses the stove while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from use of the wood-burning stove. All Airbnb Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Airbnb Guests and Airbnb Host.
