"By The Bay" è una struttura per soli adulti e gode di una delle viste sull'oceano più uniche e in continua evoluzione dell'intera costa. L'azione delle onde è spettacolare e molto terapeutica, specialmente durante le frequenti tempeste invernali. Ci godiamo anche una vista del giardino marino durante le basse maree. Le barche charter vengono sempre alla nostra vista quando trovano le balene.

Questa accogliente camera da letto è una "casa lontano da casa" di 700 m², sicura e privata. Questo appartamento si trova al piano terra senza gradini, perfetto per 2 ADULTI,. Siamo almeno 60 'sopra l'oceano e solo 100 m. dalla costa rocciosa. Siamo in posizione centrale ea breve distanza a piedi dal porto e da tutti i ristoranti, i negozi e le altre attrazioni di Depoe Bays. Il nostro appartamento con una camera da letto si trova al piano terra, lato oceano, e si trova nello stesso edificio del nostro Townhome a 1200 piedi quadrati. Gli ingressi e il parcheggio si trovano sui lati opposti dell'edificio. C'è un muro di cemento di 6 'che fornisce una completa privacy, dividendo il parcheggio del salotto cinese "Wing Wa" dagli affitti. Il famoso ristorante Oceanfront Restaurant "Tidal Raves" e un parco cittadino si trovano proprio di fronte a Hwy. 101. "Tidal Raves" apre alle 11:00 ogni giorno e si chiude per il mese di gennaio per un mese all'anno. Questo romantico, pulito e accogliente appartamento con una camera da letto è decorato con "Alaskan, Old Growth Cedar". Porta i tuoi record 78, 45 o 33 RPM per suonare sul giradischi Victorla. La casa ha tutti i pavimenti in piastrelle, un caminetto a gas, un nuovo materasso in memory foam, oltre a tutti gli stessi servizi della nostra casa di città. Questa unità ha un privato, vista sull'oceano, coperto, protetto dal vento, patio "Alaskan Old Growth Cedar". Questa unità è più adatta per 2 ADULTI. Location perfect/owner not so much

We lived our time in Depoe Bay! This was very close to ocean beautiful view. I however booked this 2/3 months in advance for an extended stay with my husband as this was our vacation. So property owners were aware of the length of stay ( 9 days) when arrived everything looked good.. upon further inspection we noticed that there was no broom ( and when asked caretaker for one he simply said we have the bottoms but no handles). Part of the toaster didn’t work, no proper utensils, only 1 big pot to cook in, 1 coffee filter, no extra paper towels etc, we’ve been to enough vrbos to know that yes sometimes they are short on somethings, but not like this, so we had to buy quite a bit to just fuction for 9 days. The fridge was dirty, the house its self was dirty ( cobwebs every where you turned). Ants were a problem from the beginning but chalked it off due to being so close to the ocean etc… but then they were crawling on myself and husband on the couch etc.. we ended up leaving 2 days early ( lost over 300.00 because of that) when messaged the owner told him why we left, he said we should have told caretaker… we did.. I offered some advice for the next couple who stays there and what should be there, I didn’t expect anything back ( meaning money etc..) what I got back was you used cologne and now I don’t know how to get it out? We didn’t use anything except what was provided for cleaning and using spray in the restroom. He has continued to harass me about this. Do not recommend

Great stay!!

It smelled like someone smokes week in the neighborhood!!! Great location easy walk to town and restaurants!! I was surprised how quiet it was being so close to Hwy 101!! The covered outdoor was cute but too many cobwebs for me to sit out there.

The property was fairly easy to find, passed it the first drive by because the buildings are all so close to each other. There were a lot of homey things to choose from while relaxing after a long day of sight seeing; books, music, tv with DVD's. The couch though was VERY uncomfortable, after an hour or so my butt hurt like crazy. The bed was amazingly comfortable tho. It wasn't as clean as I would have liked and expected and then they expected you to do the end of stay housekeeping; sweeping, mopping, cleaning shower, bathroom, stripping the beds, etc. I paid for a host fee and a nightly fee to stay there, I don't expect to have to clean the house, they should have someone to do this. Overall, we had a great time seeing the ocean for the first time. Thank you.

We won’t be coming back

I’ll start by saying this is my husband and mine’s second time staying here but first time in the lower unit. A few years back, we stayed in the larger upper unit and really enjoyed our stay. It’s an older place but everything was clean and well-maintained. I wish I could say the same for our visit this time in the downstairs unit. I’ll just go with pros and cons and let you make your own decisions. Pros: 1. The property is in a great location and is walkable. 2. The price is very affordable. (Book somewhere else in advance and it’ll be nicer.) 3. It has everything you need but nothing more. 4. Shower head is tall and has good pressure. 5. Quiet. Most of the area is though. 6. Windows in the bedroom open to keep it cool for sleeping. Cons: We didn’t reach out to the host for any issues. There were several and we just decided to not spend our vacation time contacting the host with multiple issues. 1. The main living space has a great view but gets very warm. (Stayed in August) There are many windows but nothing opens! 2. Killed multiple spiders and there were ants all over. 3. The outdoor patio is adorable but is covered in webs and the spiders to go with them. 4. The house wasn’t clean. I’m the clean freak and my husband said something first. I had to wipe down the bathroom before we could use it. We wore socks always as things stuck to our feet otherwise. This was definitely the worst part. Cleanliness would go a long ways everywhere here and eliminate the pests.

Another nice stay

We've stayed at this property and the 3 br unit on the upper floor several times before, and, as usual, the unit was clean and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. If we needed anything all we had to do is let Walt know and he would take care if it quickly. Great view of the bay and the best restaurant for miles is directly across the street. recommend this and the upper unit to anyone.

Fantastic cozy place with a great view

This place is super cute, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked, there is a washer and dryer and is comfortably furnished. The view of the beach is an added perk, it’s great couples getaway, it’s quiet and easy to get to.

Across the street from the bay

We enjoyed our stay even though we had doubts about the apartment being next to Highway 101. Thankfully, because of the double pane windows, traffic sounds were kept to a minimum. The bedroom is at the back of the home with a comfortable bed. There is a nice kitchen with most everything you need for cooking and a gas barbecue set up outside. We especially liked the location and being able to watch grey whales in Depoe Bay. Recommended!

Relaxing Stay!

Accommodations were very nice! There were lots of nice amenities such as USB ports in the bedroom lamps, CD’s with a Bose stereo - music of all genres, wonderful view of the ocean, walking distance to lovely shops, nice protected patio with BBQ, excellent parking area. The full kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. It was lovely to meet Walt as well. We felt at home.

Perfect for whale watching

It had everything we could need with plenty of room, even 2 sets of binoculars. Comfortable bed and a great shower head. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of cleaning supplies. Tidal Raves across the street is our favorite restaurant in Depoe Bay. It’s also close to plenty of other restaurants and the cliff trail.

Perfect Getaway

We loved this little vacation rental! So easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and activities, and a short drive to Taft and Lincoln City for anything we couldn’t find in Depoe Bay! No cleaning fee was a BIG draw, and the checkout expectations were no more than what we would normally do! So grateful for a simple spot to enjoy our time away without breaking the bank. Thank you!
