“We stayed in a family room. The room was clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom was roomy and very clean. The view from the balcony was wonderful. We used the swimming pool and the staff there were helpful and accommodating. The swimming pool is on the small size so can get busy. The staff on the front desk and bar were exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful. Overall a really good experience and relaxing stay.”

“I arrived at the hotel very late night and tired, and I had to wake up early for my 8:00 a.m. flight. While walking barefoot in the room, I felt something sharp under my foot — it was a piece of nail that a previous guest had cut and left on the floor, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. It was obvious the room was not clean, but since I needed to rest, I decided to mention it at the reception before leaving. “Lovely friendly place and first class service”

“Lovely old property, it was right for us within nice walking distance to darley park for a concert( 20 mins). Very quiet area, slept lovely, comfy bed and pillows. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Perhaps needs a bit of tlc and promoting as it didn't seem busy and really should be. If the outside door looks closed late at night just push it you can get in. Good value for money.”
