“Clean, quiet, friendly staff.”

“This hotel is our first choice when staying in Des Moines. Rooms are clean, breakfast is more than adequate, and the staff is friendly. This time Housekeeping knocked on our door to ask if we needed linens, and when we returned to the room, extra towels had been placed in the bathroom. We're not high flyers, we like basic accommodations and have always been pleased with this hotel.”

“The only issue I had was with the slides. The rules on what life jacket to wear wasn’t posted anywhere. My son went down one slide with a life jacket and the second time was told he couldn’t wear that one. He had to wear one that buckled in the back not in the front. The rules weren’t posted on the life jackets. ”

“This place is amazing. I’ve never stayed in a place quite like this. I got one of the cottage themed rooms and it was amazing. It was extremely comfortable (except for the pillows but it’s rare to get good pillows in a hotel). It was so spacious it felt like the room kept going. The room I booked had a fireplace which helped my wife stay warm even though I was hot and she was cold. The shower had good room and pressure. The woman who checked me in was very friendly and informative. I don’t know...
