GULF FRONT PARADISE! 201 Destin Seafarer

  • Welcome to this beautiful three story condo building located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Step right out your door and walk to the Beautiful Beach. You will have your own private beach that is never crowded like the other high rise condo’s in the area. And you will have two beach chairs and an umbrella waiting for your personal use each morning during the summer months. Take the elevator to this beautifully decorated two-story loft condo. This condo has 2 bedrooms with king size beds and 2 baths. From the living/dining room, you have a sweeping view of the beaches from your private balcony overlooking the shimmering Gulf of Mexico. It also has a very nice wet bar and sleeper sofa. Upstairs, the master bedroom opens out to a second balcony and has a nice seating area. The master bath also opens out to a private balcony with a view of the city. You have your own washer and dryer in the condo, free WIFI, and a fully equipped kitchen. Come play in the beachfront heated pool and whirlpool or step out onto one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This is a non-smoking condo. To book you must be over 25 years of age or have a legal guardian staying in the unit the entire stay.

Honeymoon in the Beach

It was a fantastic stay with a fantastic view from the second story living room and third story bedroom. We loved the Hot tub and the Heated swimming pool. Access to the beach was just steps away. We appreciated the availability of the beach umbrella and chairs. The house was well supplied with cooking utensils, necessities and towels. It was a great location to restaurants too. We loved it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a really lovely week. Only two days of bad weather at the end of October and into early November. The staff at the seafarer is always excellent and we have been gladly staying here for the better part of 22 years. It has become home away from home and we always look forward to returning.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great stay - loved being right on the beach. The bed on the main level, however, was uncomfortable. Could feel the springs. More storage in main level bathroom would be helpful for those staying in the main level bedroom. The bathroom vanity below took up all the storage space with the towels. Liked how nice and bright the living area was with the side window. Pool/hot tub area was super clean.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very disappointed in the bed in the downstairs bedroom. Very uncomfortable as the mattress had a huge lump in the center of it The mattress needs to be replaced. It would have been nice to be able to use the dresser in the downstairs bedroom as 1 drawer had sand in it and another drawer had a faulty drawer that fell off when you opened it. Only 2 hangers in the closet downstairs. Need more hangers. A ceiling fan downstairs in the bedroom would have been nice. This is our third year staying at your facility and this is the first time we’ve had any complaints. The outside deck on the first floor should have had 4 chairs and there were only 3 tall chairs and a small chair. Very uncomfortable for 4 people. One of the beach chairs in your closet was broken and I fell over at the beach from the broken chair. We were in unit 201 and will never stay in that unit again.

Especially considering most of our time was spent on the beach and/or pool. Since we flew it was so handy that we could get delivery from Walmart and restaurants, and Uber rides too.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third year in a row staying at the Seafarer. You can expect an older building with clean units, all have different ages of finishes. The property is great, pool and hot tub are nice and the included beach chairs and beach at your back door cannot be beat! We have stayed in a different unit every year. Unfortunately this unit 208 is in need of some much needed updates and better furniture. The bed mattresses are worn out, the kitchen table chairs had crooked legs that are ready to collapse and the coffee table as well is unstable. The bathrooms seem original and dated. Last there was some mold on the bedroom ceiling. We still had a nice stay, but I'd avoid this unit if you have a choice. We will still be back next year! The goods outweighed the bads on this trip and the unit was very clean despite it's issues.

We did have a few issues with the room when we first got there but maintenance was in our room fixing all issues right away. The condo was very clean. Needs some updates!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Seafarer and have stayed in multiple units over the years, but this was our first time in unit 201. From the pictures the unit looks well maintained but this unfortunately was not the case upon checkin. The carpet is extremely worn and heavily stained throughout the unit, the dining room chairs have slip covers over them that are incredibly dirty and the chairs underneath were destroyed. The bathtub in very shallow and did not have a drain cover so it was not usable. The kitchen was not stocked with cooking utensils, there was only 1 plastic cooking spoon. The freezer would pop open every time the refrigerator was opened. The blinds in the guest bedroom were broken and had a hole in them where anyone from outside could look in (we covered this hole with a hand towel during our stay) we would’ve requested to be moved to another unit, but we knew there were no other 2 bedroom units available during our stay. We definitely would not recommend unit 201.

Great spot!

Condo was great. Location was great! Loved that the beach in front of the condo was not crowded and chairs and umbrella rental included with stay. Close enough to walk to The Back Porch restaurant and to The Track. Only complaint was on our last night there were teens/college age kids in the pool past midnight with music blaring and yelling and cussing.
