New high-end finishes include wood like plank tile throughout, granite and quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, ceiling fans, large custom walk-in shower in the master bathroom, custom tub/shower combo in guest bathroom. King bed in master bedroom with 2 queens in guest bedroom. Kitchen Aide ice maker in wet bar and abundant, high-quality patio furniture complete the unit. Offers free beach service March 1st through the Sunday after Thanksgiving. (Monthly reservations do not receive complimentary beach set-ups.) Vacation Perfection

The property is so clean and beautiful, and the location is unbeatable. We are still driving home and already daydreaming about our next trip to Gulfgate. No need to shop the area, this is THE place to stay!!

Destin Gulfgate 1006

The property was in great condition and my wife and mother-in-law loved how it was decorated. The best of all was the amazing water front view and easy access to the beach which is nice with little ones. Would drive back down right now and purchase the place and make it my permanent place if money grew on trees😁

Vacation Perfection

We’ve stayed at Gulfgate before. We returned because the location cannot be beaten. The unit was immaculate. Appliances are newer than in most condos. The decor is beachy without being cheesy. Property manager is responsive to questions. There was nothing worth complaining about. Will definitely return to this location (and this unit) again and again.

The unit was extremely clean, the bed's were very comfortable. The ice maker is such a great feature to have! The view from the balcony and watching the dolphins pass by each morning was not to be forgotten. Beach service was wonderful and the staff was friendly and always helpful. I can't say enough positive things.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is aesthetically pleasing to the eye but not very good quality craftsmanship, finish, etc. It is a nice property. The unit had several needed cosmetic and functional repairs, never communicated to us, nor remedied while we were there, which makes this particular unit very over-priced for what we paid (>$1,000/night). For that price, one can do better. Specifically, the refrigerator had no door-shelving as someone preceding our stay had damaged it/ripped it off. The refrigerator’s damaged shelving was merely thrown into the laundry room. That made refrigerator storage very challenging. Linens were very cheap, blankets were limited, and of very thin and poor quality material. The patio furniture was lacking and very basic (cheap). Several kitchen cabinets doors were hung crooked, damaged, and cracked extremely loud when opened/closed.

And having chairs and an umbrella waiting for us on the beach was a bonus. Being an end unit 1006 had the bonus of extra windows and light and an excellent frame for sunset photos from the balcony porthole window.
