“Fawlty Towers is centrally located within easy walking distance of the downtown pedestrian streets and waterfront promenade, but the surrounding neighborhood is a bit sketchy. The surrounding 2 blocks are rather dingy and full of dive bars. The hotel and room are clean. There was air conditioning (a big plus in Baku's heat). The free breakfast is very generous. The staff is nice and very helpful (but occasionally they have someone working who only speaks Azerbaijani and not English or Russian)....

“Andare in centro vi costerà 30 manat, circa 28 Euro. Intorno, a parte la spiaggia, non c'è nulla, per cui dovete mangiare lì (molto scarso) o prendere un taxi. Struttura grande (ma in Giugno pochissimi ospiti e moltissimo personale) che comincia a decadere.”

“L'unica cosa interessante è il prezzo del soggiorno. Ma quello che si risparmia all'inizio si paga giorno per giorno in taxi per cui alla fine il conto è negativo. Inoltre di sera le strade che portano all'hotel sono completamente al buio. L'hotel in origine doveva essere un bel hotel ma ora è abbandonato e gestito da cani. La camera era ampia e luminosa ma la pulizia era disattenta e la moquette presentava decine di dubbie macchie. I davanzali erano sporchi dal primo giorno e non sono mai...
