“We had the most relaxing stay! The property is located rurally, so you need a car. It was quiet, peaceful and comfortable. The pool was a real bonus as we had some very hot days. So was the excellent air conditioning! We had a lot of fun cycling in the surrounding areas, and beside the Loire River, so many small villages and a fabulous wine region. Josiane and Jean-Michel were lovely hosts. ”

“Over het geheel genomen vonden wij het FÓLKLORE Hôtel fantastisch! Deze staat midden in het centrum van Sancerre. Stephanie is een heel gezellige en leuke gastvrouw die er veel aan deed om zich verstaanbaar te maken met de vertaal-app en wij dus ook, wat soms tot hilarische uitspraken leidde… Klein minpuntje was de te kleine en steeds wat verschuivende wc bril. Waar je op moet letten, dat wisten wij niet, is dat op zondag het centrum volledig afgesloten is. Parkeren (gratis) is aan de rand...

“Everything was unique about this place, the location, the warm and generous host, her dog Twiggy. We had a delicious breakfast every morning including freshly made crepes. At the last minute we were given a ride to the nearest train station ! I will never forget Nicole and her place. Ligia”

“Accueil sans plus Hôtel à rénover rapidement, trop d'obsolescence pour les sanitaires, le décor intérieur. Literie ok Personnel sympatique au restaurant (Attention au management), mais chambre trop désuète, qui nécessite une refonte complète.”

“Die neu renovierten Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und groß. Die neu eingebaute Klimaanlage hat ihren Dienst gut gemacht, was allerdings recht laut in der Nacht (trotz Regulierungen). Einzig die Handtücher sind ziemlich zerfetzt und könnten dann auch mal komplett erneuert werden, um besser ins Gesamtbild zu passen. Besonders zu empfehlen ist auch das Restaurant und die hervorragende Küche!!”
