“Beautifuly decorated and comfy beds. Directly on the lake and friendly staff. Bring a gas cooker or one use bbq type thing for your meals or there are Restaurants or I saw a family with take away pizza. A little fridge, cutlery, plates and bowls supplied. Soft, fluffy towels, washing up things too. Supermarket 5 mins away. One needs to be used to being self-sufficient and down to earth. Fresh water tap around the corner, showers and toilets shared and regularly cleaned. Beautiful and peaceful....

“Sehr netter unkomplizierter Empfang, gemütliches hübsches Tinyhouse wie beschrieben. Lage sehr schön am See. Alles sauber.Der See einladend. Die Nähe zu Amsterdam top. Die Beschallung der viel befahrenen Straße ist immer präsent und stört leider etwas die Idylle. Das wäre nur mit einer Schallschutzmauer zu dämmen an der Straße.”

“Incheck verliep snel met een uiterst vriendelijke dame. Legde alles goed uit. Pipowagen staat op een uniek plekje aan het water, met schitterend uitzicht. Inrichting is zeer basaal, maar gezellig. Vond het niet erg schoon, maar dat is subjectief. Als je niet zo goed ter been bent, is het trapje naar de wagen onhandig en de instap in de bedstee erg hoog. Ik heb hele fijne dagen gehad, die me brachten wat ik wilde: heerlijk tot rust komen. Tip: restaurant de Boathouse, erg lekker en gezellig!”

“Eine sehr saubere und gemütliche Unterkunft. Die Lage ist perfekt, um ein paar ruhige Tage zu verbringen. Ein besonderes Highlight ist das große Fenster im Wohnbereich, das das Beobachten von Hasen, Kühen etc. ermöglicht. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern verlief reibungslos. Jeder Zeit wieder!”

“We ended up booking at this inn because our flight to Portugal was cancelled the day before our flight and we had to overnight in the Netherlands. We didn’t want to stay super close to the airport. After looking at the photos of the inn on Expedia, we chose to stay at the Abbey Abcoude, as it seemed close enough to Schipol without being right at the airport. The taxi to Abcoude is pricey, but we discovered the next day that the train is a short walk away from the inn and only involves one...

“Wir waren für eine Nacht hier und es war wirklich sehr angenehm. Es gibt eigene Parkmöglichkeiten und die Anfahrt ist sehr ersichtlich. Es ist ein süßes kleines Häuschen, mit schöner Ausstattung und allem was man braucht. Eine kleine Terrasse/ Garten gibt es auch zum entspannen. Wir haben sogar ein Trampolin für Kinder entdeckt.
