“It's a bed and breakfast. And the rooms are quite rudementary, the sound insulation so and so, and the cleanliness of the communal toilets and showers vary. But the price is good, the location excellent, and the breakfast exemplary. So all in all, we give it five stars. And will stay there again when we visit Mariefred.”

It is located in the heart of a forest so it gives an authentic Swedish countryside experience but the interior has all the modern conveniences you could want. There was plenty of natural wildlife nearby and plenty of forest to explore. It is still only takes around an hour to drive into...
