“Floor had to be swept immediately when we entered. There were glasses from the previous occupants that still had liquids in them by the sink. The beds were not made and we don't believe the were cleaned either. Mold all over the shower curtains and in the shower itself. Do. Not. Rent.”

“We stayed here during a stretch of extreme heat, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. While the basic housekeeping seemed okay and the motel has an older, rustic charm, the room's air conditioner was completely unable to cool the space—to the point where it was actually warmer inside the room than it was outside. Because the room was not comfortable or safe for a full night's sleep, we had to leave in the middle of the night and find alternative accommodations, ending up...

“The air conditioner did not work well. The room at its lowest was 78 degrees. The staff did give us extra fans but it didn’t help. There was a microwave but no utensils. A coffee maker but no coffee cups. One roll of toilet paper for two nights for four people. Not satisfied at all.”

“Sheets were fantastic. House needs a little work. The heat was good, hot water was good, coffee pot worked fine. The living room rug is bad, needs to be tossed. The on duty manger was very helpful with the lock. Would probably stay again if needed.”

“We found bed bugs. The manager offered another room but this place was so run down, we left and had to drive 50 minutes away to find another hotel at 12:30 am. The blinds on the window facing the Main Street were in terrible shape. I had to improvise with a bath towel to keep people from seeing right in our room. There is a large hole in the floor that was carpeted over. Unbelievable to me that VRBO would accept this property! Very disappointed! ”

“We picked this dog-friendly location as a halfway point between my family in Colorado and my brother’s in Minnesota. It worked perfectly for our time together and the house and location were beautiful! Christmas decorations were a nice bonus. Had everything we needed. Only thing we wished was available was a bathroom in the basement bedroom. Not a deal breaker, but a bit of a trek in the middle of the night. ;-) We all agreed we’d definitely book again to get the families together. ”
