“Jody and Darby were very friendly and welcoming! I was here for a month and would absolutely recommend it for someone staying in the area. I would recommend a car with either AWD or a high clearance. I would also recommend bringing an instapot, air fryer, or hot pot if you plan on cooking food here”

“We were grateful there were two beds! But everything was very hodgepodge! The bed was terrible! There was very hot water and lots of pressure! The tub was clean and the refrigerator was new! With a little effort it could be very cute! We tried to call the contact to figure out where we were going as GPS wasn’t accurate! And the ladies voicemail was full! ”

“Great experience at HazelBrook Haven! Perfect combination of feeling like we were out in the middle of nowhere and yet within a reasonable drive of civilization! We enjoyed relaxing in the very comfortable cabin in the evenings after we explored Red River Gorge/Daniel Boone National Forest during the days. My 3 teens and I found the property to have everything we wanted and needed - plenty of seating to relax, cozy beds, a hot tub to relax in, plenty of room in the kitchen to make our meals,...

“Cute cabin! Everything was new and clean. Great location for rock climbing, red river gorge activities, and even Louisville (2 hr drive) must see Louisville slugger factory tour and Churchill Downs. Also, Bourbon trail in Louisville. Nice day trip there. The lake was nearby for fishing as well. Game room was a nice touch. ”
