“We booked two rooms in January of 2026. This hotel is an unbelievably beautiful property. We truly felt that we traveled back in time and felt like royalties. The ambiance, amenities, staff, service, food..just WOW !!! Will highly highly recommend this place to anyone who travels to Varanasi. It is right on Ganga ji and they have complementary ferries to any ghat you wish to visit..”

“Had an amazing stay with Avantika Taj this month. Rooms have a breathtaking views. Cleanliness,Hospitality is extremely impressive. The hotel is new, hence the service is slow but overall experience is great. The only challenge could be taking 50-60 steps every time ( especially for elders) which needs to be considered before booking as there is no other way to commute. Shall visit again . Thank you .”

“The hotel was the nicest we’d been to in our weeks in India. Several areas stood out in our minds. Wonderfully kind and helpful staff, opening doors, organizing rides, making change. Rooms were lovely, great shower pressure and temp. Nice wall mount blow dryer, comfy bed, air conditioning. Amazing cafe, really fresh and yummy food. “Non fatevi incantare dalle foto: la struttura fa veramente schifo. Stanze sporchissime, terriibilmente maleodoranti e ben lontane dagli standard dichiarati nei siti di prenotazione. Noi avevamo prenotato una suite con terrazza vista Gange, i 20 mq dichiarati non erano nemmeno la metà. Lenzuola sporche, animali (insetti e topi), bagno con cavi elettrici penzolanti e isolati solo con lo scotch avana, il bagno un buco schifoso con un secchio per fare la doccia, la terrazza privata in realtà è una...

“Questo albergo è decisamente consigliabile per la sua posizione ma a mio avviso troppo costoso per quello che la struttura ed il servizio offrono. La camera non è una suite. La vista sul fiume è riservata solo a poche ed ancor più costose camere, mentre per gli altri c'è un bel terrazzo panoramico sul tetto con vista sul fiume.
